After the kids left the table was left with an array of almost empty dishes, reflecting the
abundance of their pack's territory.

Alpha, raised his glass to propose a toast. "To the bonds that unite
us," he said, his voice resonating with the authority that had led their pack through countless
challenges.

Luna, his partner, mirrored his sentiment with a warm smile. "And to the joy we find in each
other's company," she added, her eyes sparkling with the love and respect she held for all present..

Y/M, a close friend of Luna's, clinked her glass against Luna's. "May our hearts be as full as
our bellies," she joked, eliciting a round of laughter from the group.

Y/F, Y/M's partner, nodded in agreement. "Speaking of joy, the Carnival Festival is tonight. I
think it's high time we all let loose and enjoy the festivities together," he suggested, his joyful
nature bringing a lightness to the conversation.

The mention of the festival stirred excitement in Luna. "The Carnival Festival? Oh, I haven't
been since we were mere pups!" she exclaimed, her enthusiasm infectious.

Alpha's eyes met Luna's, and a silent agreement passed between them. "It's settled then.

We'll attend the festival this evening," he declared, the finality in his tone leaving no room for
debate.

Luna's response was immediate; she pushed back her chair and stood up with such haste that it startled the others.

"I must get ready then! I have the perfect dress for the occasion,"
she said, already moving towards her room with a swiftness that belied her usual grace.

As the door to Luna's room closed behind her, the remaining three exchanged amused
glances. "She's always had a flair for the dramatic," Y/M commented, shaking her head
fondly.

Alpha chuckled. "Indeed. But her spirit is one of the things that makes her an exceptional
Luna," he said, pride evident in his tone.

Y/F leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. "I wonder what the festival
has in store for us this year. I've heard they've added new games and attractions," he mused
aloud.
The conversation flowed effortlessly as they discussed the various activities they hoped to
partake in at the festival. From testing their strength at the hammer bell to racing through the
enchanted maze, the anticipation for the evening's events grew with each passing moment.

However, as time ticked by, Luna's absence became increasingly noticeable. Y/M's brow furrowed with concern.
"It's unlike Luna to take this long. Do you think she might need help with something?" she asked, her protective instincts kicking in.

Alpha's expression softened. "Perhaps. She did seem particularly excited about her attire for
the evening," he replied, understanding Luna's desire to look her best for such an occasion.

Y/F stretched his arms above his head, a playful smirk on his lips. "Knowing Luna, she's
probably transformed her room into a dressing chamber fit for a queen," he joked, though his
eyes held a hint of concern as well.

Y/M stood, her decision made. "I'll go check on her. It wouldn't hurt to offer a helping hand,
just in case," she said, her voice laced with worry.

As Y/M made her way to Luna's room, the air of anticipation that had filled the dining room
shifted to one of suspense.

The door creaked open, and Y/M stepped inside, her eyes immediately widening in shock

and fear at the sight that greeted her.
