I reached my office to get welcomed by my friend Prem
"Bro what happened? You are so late you have never been this late. What happened?"
Prem started to shower questions on to "Chill bro I just became late once and you are showering me with questions what is this?" I said getting annoyed.
"Hello, first of you were never this late, second of all you would always inform me and your PA whenever you get late or take a leave and third of all you never missed such an important meeting that also not 1 but 2, now you yourself say shouldn't I be worried" he said with real concern and getting a bit annoyed
"Arre yrr I just overslept today as a result I got up late and that's why this all happened" I said in a quite calm yet stern voice. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? YOU ADITHYA OVERSLEPT" he said yelling aloud
"Why the heck are you screaming huh" I said getting more annoyed but I know it was just for him to get surprise because I wasn't a person who slept a lot like if you go tell him I didn't sleep for 10 days he would be like okay but if he got to know that I overslept he for real would get crazy
"Bro you literally overslept after this many years say how can I not even be happy" he said getting happy "yeh I really do and that's why this occurred, whatever" I said dialing my PA's number
"But was the reason you overslept did you took any sleeping pills or any other drugs" he asked with curiosity
"Actually, there happened to be this—yes please bring a cup of coffee to my cabin and bring that file as well, yeah so what was I saying" I said getting distracted after getting my call answered got answered by my PA
"Bro you didn't even start saying anything" he said "Ohh, whatever, so you know na last week I went to Kerala for a business purpose?" I asked him "Yeh I remember, Yahh don't tell me you had something out there and you still haven't got sobber up" he said
"Arre yrr it's not like that so when I went there my sister insisted me to meet her college friend which happened to be Nandu's friend (Nanda = Nandu) and the most shocking part she was Madhav's sister" I said the last part looking at him to see his expression "Madhav had a sister all this time, how come I didn't know about her" Prem said by getting sad but I know he wasn't really
"Bro for real that's his sister and maybe my soon to be wife so don't think about her like that okay" I said acting to be focused on my work "Adi what the fuck did you just say soon to be wife you got to be kidding me" he said getting a lot more surprised." yrr I literally said maybe which—" I got interrupted by my PA saying "Sir, may I come in"
"Yes, you may' I said in my cold yet calm voice" here is your coffee sir and here is the filed you asked for" she said keeping them on the table "Thank you miss Shwetha I would also like you to reschedule my meeting that I missed" I said "Yes sir, so can I schedule it for tomorrow 9:00" she asked politely
