Keyshawn stared at everybody while they was coming to his grandmother house for the family gathering, he wasn't a big person on any typa events. He was more onna chill side, than the party type. "Hii Mekai." He heard Yaz, making him smile, "Wassup li' Yaz." He greeted.
Kieran came inside with a frown on his face. "He always frowned up or something, what's wrong with him?" Keyshawn questioned, "I don't know honestly, his moods been switching like crazy lately." Yazmari frowned. "You think he picked up the bipolar disorder from yo daddy?" Mekai questioned.
He watched Yaz face turn into a deeper frown. "Ima take him to the doctor, cause I think so too." She told him. "Speaking of yo dad, did they tell you he was supposed to be coming today?" Keyshawn questioned.
Yaz scrunched her face up quickly. "No? I don't wanna see that man at all." She irritatedly spoke. He chuckled then picked Kieran up, Kieran immediately laid his head on Keyshawn's shoulder.
The whole house went silent, as they attention went onto the front door, Yaz and Keyshawn furrowed they eyebrows before looking over at the door. He watched Yazmari body stiffen, "Wassup family." Her dad spoke loudly with a smile.
Keyshawn scrunched his face up, "You ain't no family nigga, the fuck." Keyshawn said instantly. "Keyshaw- No, he got a nerve to come walking into my family gathering like he crazy or something, Damien you haven't did shit for me since I was little." Yaz cut whoever it was, agreeing with Keyshawn.
"Matter of fact, you haven't even did shit with my family ever since you drove my mother crazy into killing herself. You so self righteous." Yaz continued. "If I told you why I left, you wouldn't even believe me Kala. I'm never self righteous, Ion come around cause nobody wants me around." Damien spoke quickly.
Keyshawn shook his head. He knew the real reason why Damien didn't come around, but he didn't wanna speak on it at the moment of time. "Ion even want you around, Your supposed to be my dad and honestly, you ain't nothing to me at all Damien. You just a man who got my momma pregnant." Yazmari voice cracked.
Keyshawn rubbed her back, before passing her Kieran and pulling out his phone. He had Kentrell number and he knew he was the typa person to calm her down in situations like this one at the moment of time. Keyshawn walked outside, "Hello?" He heard Kentrells voice.
"Wassup Kentrell, I need you to come and calm Yaz down. Ha daddy just showed up." Keyshawn spoke, "Ha dadd- That nigga ain't been in her life since she was 6." Kentrell spoke, "But ight, I'll be there in 5." He added on and they both told their goodbyes before hanging up the phone on one another.

Yaz smiled at Kentrell as he placed kisses on her cheek, "You okay, ma?" He questioned. "Yeah, I just let my emotions take over, I wanna talk to him tho. I didn't even mean to go off like that," She said truthfully. "Ima see where yo grandmo at with Kieran, go to talk to him." Kentrell spoke.
Yaz nodded, then walked to go find her dad. She looked around at least for a minute before seeing him sitting alone, she bit down on her lip before pulling out a chair and sitting next to him. "I'm sorry about your mother, but I never drove her into killing herself." He said.
Yaz furrowed her eyebrows, then looked over at her dad who was already looking at her. "Yo momma had schizophrenia, and she let her thoughts get to her head. That's what led to her death." He explained. Yazmari stayed silent, she was shock. The whole time the family was feeding her lies, about her own father.
"I would have never did that to your mother in any kind of way, I was loyal, and supportive. She died a few weeks before our wedding, I was hoping to see the lady I loved walked down the aisle, but when I walked into the bathroom and saw your mother hanging. I was devastated, but I should've never cut you nor your brother out my life like that." Damien continued.
Yaz continued to stay silent. "When you was diagnosed with your bipolar disorder?" She questioned, "I don't know, at the age of 6." He spoke. "Oh, can we go out and catch up sometime? I really want to catch you up on life." Yazmari spoke, looking over seeing Kentrell and Kieran laughing together.
"Anytime, I just moved back down here. So you can contact me at anytime." Damien assured Yaz, making her smile and nod. "Bye Damien, see you soon." She told him, getting up and walking over to Kentrell and Kieran who was still laughing. "Hey mommy baby!" She said, "Hi." Kieran spoke.
Yamari smiled widely, Kieran knew how to talk well for his age but he never really did. "Why he don't be talking to you? Me and him just finished jocing off the way you walk." Kentrell spoke. "Um, both of y'all are literally bowlegged." Yazmari said. Kentrell plucked her in the forehead, making them both laugh softly.
TIME SKIP ONE HOUR LATER
"Bye momo, Ima come and sit with you so we can talk about your grand daughter." Kentrell tried to whisper horribly, making Mrs. Moore laugh. "Momo you fake, why you over here talking about me to this creature?" Yazmari joked, looking over at Kentrell whose mouth was open.
"That's why you getting fat." He said, making Yaz glare at him slightly. "You should've never got me pregnant again in the first place, the heck." Yaz said, before hitting him in his chest and running out her grandmother's house.
