Suddenly, the warning light on the Ghost Portal blared. Danny jumped back. The air rippled with peculiar energy without warning, and a swarm of Slug Ghosts materialized from the shadows of the Portal Door. "Observe!"

Danny Phantom stood with his back against the wall, surrounded by the menacing group. These ghostly creatures, resembling oversized, translucent slugs with malevolent red eyes, oozed a trail of ectoplasm as they slithered toward Danny. The larger of the Slug Ghosts sneered at Danny.

With a burst of ectoplasmic energy, Danny transformed into his ghostly alter ego, his black suit materializing around him. A transformed Danny flew towards the closest Slug Ghost, fists clenched and glowing with ecto-energy. He delivered a powerful punch that sent the creature backward, its ectoplasmic body rippling from the impact. Yet, as one fell back, two more surged forward, their gaping mouths attempting to engulf him.

Danny twisted and turned in the air, evading the snapping jaws. He unleashed a barrage of energy blasts, each striking a Slug Ghost. The creatures hissed in pain, their bodies flickering like faulty neon lights under the assault. They continued their relentless advance.

His eyes narrowed. He knew he needed a different strategy. Diving towards the ground, he phased through the concrete, re-emerging behind the horde. "How about I try out that new skill?" Danny clenched his fists and smirked beneath his ghostly white hair. "Overgrow!" He could feel the drain on his energy reserves, but he could feel the tightening of his muscles and an increase in his height. Bringing two massive fists up, he swung them down against the group. The physical force and a wave of energy sent them tumbling, disoriented, and weakened. 'That felt like the hardest he's hit so far.' Doubled strength rocks!"

But the Slug Ghosts have not been defeated yet. Their health bars were at about 25%. They regrouped quickly, forming a tight circle around Danny. The air hummed with ectoplasmic energy as they prepared to attack in unison.
