Chapter 1

"I am chaos to your thoughts, and you are poison to my heart."

There she is sitting perfectly under the tree reading a book, surrounded by fallen petals from the cherry blossom tree. Its a perfect picture, even though everything she does is a perfect moment to take a picture. I pulled my Canon camera into the perfect angle, snapping a picture. Throughout the rest of the time I was watching her, I took a few more pictures, I just watched her for the most part. Once she left to head home, I followed her making sure she got home safe. After I went home, printing the pictures off, and posting them on the wall in my room. The plan was set up perfectly, the only thing missing was that she's not in my arms yet. "Soon my kitten. Soon." I whispered to myself falling asleep in the room full of her pictures.

Alexis' POV

"There's the birthday girl!" My dad exclaimed. And then I heard people shout happy birthday. My tail wrapping around my waist as I blushed. My dad came up to me and hugged me. "My little girl is growing up so fast." he said on the verge of tears. Yeah my parents were blessed with 1 girl after 5 boys, then they tried again and got another boy. "Daddy don't cry." I pleaded. "I'm not, I just got something in my eyes." he said trying to play it off cool. "Most of the gifts are from us." Eric my oldest brother said, with the other 5 beside him. "Always spoiling her still?" My aunt asked. "Gotta spoil the only girl, especially since to most of us are her older brothers, with the exception of one younger brother." Aaron said hugging me. "Ok open mine first." my younger brother, Jared said. "Ok." I agreed. My brothers led me to my designated spot, while Jared grabbed the gift he got me. He placed it on my lap and I started to unwrap it. "You know me to well." I said hugging the box filled with candy. I gave him a hug thanking him. From the older ones they must have wrapped about 5 things if not more each that they bought. "Thank you everyone." I said getting hugs as they left. Aaron hugged me the longest, he was my most favourite. Aaron was always there to protect me, but now he lives across town. "Bye Lex." he said.
"See ya later Aaron." I replied. After Aaron left I headed upstairs getting ready for bed. Once I settled into my bed I fell asleep immediately.

When I woke up I smelt breakfast. I beat my brother down the stairs and into the kitchen. "I figured you two would be up pretty quickly." My dad said chuckling, as he continued to read the newspaper. I sat down at what I call my spot and wait for breakfast to be done. Once it was finished mom gave us all plates and utensils, then we all dished in. "Lex I will be picking you up from school from now on, there's are murderer on the loose, and we don't want you getting hurt." My dad said. "Ok dad we better leave soon though so I won't be late." I responded. He nodded in response and got up taking his keys. I hopped off the stool and grabbed my backpack, and headed outside to the car. When we arrived at my school, I kiss my dad on the cheek as I leave the car. Heading into the building I was greeted by my wonderful friends. Catching up with each other some more even though I did see them yesterday. "So Aaron got hotter." Alisha said. "Shut up that's my brother your talking about." I said glaring at her while opening my locker only for a note to fall out.

You look quite ravishing today my little kitten, see you soon.

"What the hell?" I muttered under my breath. "What's on the note?" Emily asked. I just handed them the note. After she read it she scoffed, "Boys have nothing better to do than stupid pranks." Laughing together she handed it back to me and I crumpled it up, throwing it in the trash. Linking arms we all walked to class together. Once lunch rolled around we left the school to go to a restaurant with a few other friends that had a 3rd period spare. Skimming through the menu we were all joking around, Emily and Alisha brought up the note. The others rolled their eyes, complimenting their lack of creativity. "Like honestly they really think thats funny. Its hilarious to us because its pathetic." Jackie said all of us laughing with her. "Hey my beautiful sluts!" Darren said sliding into the booth next to me. Darren is the only guy within our friend group, a football player, who just so happens to be guy as well. The girls informed him on the note. "Maybe someone has a crush on her, look at her she's just precious!" He gushed holding my face between his hands, pecking my lips jokingly. It wasn't uncommon for him, he enjoyed making his team jealous. It definitely works, we find it hilarious. Moments after his kiss, we heard glass shatter. I jumped in my seat as we all looked around to see what happened. We saw the some of staff making there way to another booth where a man was sitting. As they were trying to help him with whatever happened his eyes stared me down. I squirmed in my seat and looked away. The girls and Darren murmured wondering what happened. Moments later our food was brought out and we enjoyed the rest of our lunch. As we went to pay I was informed by the waitress that my meal was. I was definitely confused but still tipped them and then we left to attend our final class. Me being the closest with Darren I was tucked into his side, his arm around me. As we were walking someone bumped into us causing me to fall. "Hey what the hell man, watch where you're going. You made her fall." Alisha said, getting in his face. Darren helped me up and looked me over. He put me behind him as he confronted the stranger. Peaking around I saw his hand was wrapped as I made my way to look at his face our eyes connected as he stared at me again. It was the man from the restaurant. "My apologies I'm rushing to get to the hospital, not sure this hack job of wrapping up my hand is good enough. Don't want to lose my hand." He chuckled apologizing. There was something about the way he said it that felt... off. Darren laughed, "No worries just watch where you're going, God knows she's not the only girl this small." We parted ways as we walked away I kept wondering why he stared at my like that, like he was a starved wolf and I was a helpless kitten.

His POV

There she is, so close yet so far. Sitting with her friends, talking about my note like it was written by some stupid boy. Not long after a boy joined them, sitting beside her. I clenched my teeth. They were talking about the note telling him about it. He grabbed her face and kissed. Next thing I know the glass in my hand shattered cutting my hand deeply. My eyes never left her as the staff rushed over wondering what happened. Her eyes met mine for a moment, she suddenly looked away, shifting in her seat. I left shortly after they got their food but paying for her meal first. I waited outside for them to leave. Of course that fuckboy jock had his arms around her. I could feel my blood pulsing, she was mine and he was touching her! I walked towards them, purposefully pushing between the two my heart aching when I notice her fall. "Hey what the hell man, watch where you're going. You made her fall." Her one friend said getting in my face, it took everything in me to yell at her. "My apologies I'm rushing to get to the hospital, not sure this hack job of wrapping up my hand is good enough. Don't want to lose my hand." I said, the only thing I was sorry about was causing her harm. "No worries just watch where you're going, God knows she's not the only girl this small." The guy said chuckling. God I fucking hate him. Once I have my way you won't be near her ever again. I carefully followed behind them  hiding when necessary. Mark my words little one, I'll have you, one day.
