We end up going to the local diner. The three of us manage to grab the last booth. It appears that half the senior class had the same idea. Between the three of us we order enough food to feed an entire army. We spend time sharing stories, joking, and laughing between us. After a while I sat back and watched as Phelan and John tried to out do each other by telling the most embarrassing story they had involving the other. I laughed so much my sides hurt. We parted ways to get ready for the party. Phelan accompanied me to my house as he 'didn't give two shits' how he looked. Guys have it so easy. He sat on my bed as I changed and did my hair. Every time I would pass him, he would grab me and kiss me somewhere on my body, making me giggle every time. Because of this, getting ready took longer than it should have.

We could hear the bass of the music as we pulled up to Tommy's house. The best parties were always held here. I haven't been to many this last semester though. There were already people everywhere. The front yard, the back yard, and all through the house. All with some form of drink in their hands. There was a DJ in the living room with the sound fed through the speakers throughout the house and back yard. I can already some people in the pool, some dancing around it. It looked like the entire year was here. We entered through the open front door into a large foyer. There were empty cups on every surface and people talking in small groups or hanging out on the stairs that lined one wall. From there we made our way into the lounge. The music was loudest here. There were a large amount of people dancing in the middle of the room. The couches and furniture had been pushed against the walls to make room for this very purpose.

"I can't see John anywhere. He was going to meet us here yeah?" I ask Phelan.

"Yeah, he'll be here somewhere. Let's go get a drink. Maybe he is in the kitchen."

I nod following him through the crowd into the kitchen where there was a make-shift bar where you could mix your own drinks, as well as beer in coolers, and something in a large bowl that looked like punch but smelt lethal.

"How about I make us something?" Phelan said after giving the punch a suspicious look.

"Yeah, I would prefer that." I smile.

He gets to work mixing a few different things together before adding some coke. He hands it to me, and I take a sip. It was surprising. I couldn't taste the alcohol at all and found it quite refreshing. I hum in approval causing a grin to come onto Phelan's face before he had some of his. After that we walked outside to the pool area. We finally saw John sitting on one of the chairs around the pool. We made our way over to him.

"Did we miss anything?" Phelan jokes.

"Nah, just a bunch of inflated egos becoming obnoxious with the copious amount of alcohol consumed." He rolls his eyes.

I snort out a laugh. "That is the fanciest way I have heard someone say a bunch of idiots getting drunk." The boys chuckle. "We didn't keep you waiting too long, did we?"

"Nah, its all-good Kasey. I haven't been here that long myself."

I nod as Phelan takes a seat next to him before pulling me onto his lap. We hang by the pool, drinking and watching the activity around us. As the sun set everything seemed to amp up. There were more people dancing. A few party games were being played in the various rooms. And everyone seemed to be enjoying the time. I was starting to relax. We had moved away from the pool and were in the living room. Phelan and John were talking as I was swaying to the music. Phelan was holding me from behind with his hands around my waist. He would occasionally lean down and kiss my neck as I swayed. I turned in his arms and laced my hands behind his neck.
