He went out of the Cafe and opened the fire alarm . The alarm kept on ringing loudly while a crowd of security came to check it. Soon the exit was clear and they both ran out.
Charlotte became tired of running and her ankles hurt her even more. The masked guy noticed her pained expression and carried her in a bridal style. "Ohh are u trying to be romantic now " she snickered teasingly.
The masked guy slightly blushing told her " it's nothing like that! you were slowing us down so I thought by carrying u, we'll get to the car easily".
While he was carrying her, Charlotte was staring at the night sky and how beautiful the moon is. She felt as if she's living the most romantic moment of her life . The smell of the guy caught her attention. He smelled like vanilla and little like black coffee. She enjoyed this smell. "By the way masked guy I didn't catch your name?" "It's Kevin" he muttered.

A moment of awkward silence

"I was wondering you haven't asked what's my name ?" she asked. " I already know your name...it's Charlotte"
"How did u know? she glanced at him.
"I've wrote your name a million times on your Frappuccino cup ,silly." He chuckled softly.
They both laughed.
A few minutes later, they were in Kevin's car .
Charlotte felt at ease at last after they got away from the hotel. Kevin once he started the engine he took off his mask... When Charlotte saw his face, she couldn't help but stare for a moment. Kevin noticed her staring and said "what?"
"it's just that you look quite handsome with your mask off you know" said Charlotte while blushing. "I just took off the mask because it feels suffocating wearing it in the car" said Kevin . A few minutes later she couldn't help but feel nervous as she kept overthinking... Many thoughts kept running in her head like..."what if someone saw us together "..."what if my family notices that I'm missing and they're now searching for me".... "what if they think that I was kidnapped..they'll be worried as hell "
'I know running from the wedding was a bold move on my part , but I know damn well that I should be responsible for my own actions... ' 'what about Kevin...a random guy whom I'm just getting him involved in my personal problems'.
'I'm being selfish for doing that and he would possibly get in trouble for helping me'...
The escape that she thought would be so exciting like what she sees in movies....turns out to be much more than what she expected after all.
