"Yushiro, I saw a person getting mugged!" (Y/n) exclaimed as she entered the room that her best friend was in, her eyes closely examining his grumpy expression. She didn't expect him to even respond to her whatsoever but he did, his head snapping towards her.
"Is that blood?" He asked suspiciously, eyes trailing down her body towards her hands.
"Huh?" (Y/n) raised her hand, glancing down.
"Well?" He waited, pausing his process of painting Lady Tamayo yet again.
"Uhm... yeah." She replied sheepishly, looking down at the ground.
"What did you do, (Y/n)?" He asked, sighing wearily.
"Heyyy, in my defense, they were attacking an innocent person on the street and therefore had to be cleansed!" (Y/n) explained, putting her hands up.
"And you killed them?" Yushiro questioned incredulously and with a hint of disappointment.
"No, I didn't kill them." (Y/n) retorted.
"Why is there blood then?" Yushiro asked once more, suspicion written all over his face. He put down the tools he'd been utilizing for his paintings and standing up to walk towards her.
"He stabbed me so I stabbed him right back!" (Y/n) replied, taking a step back as Yushiro took her hand to look at the blood from the human.
"Was the wound fatal?" The demon continued, closely observing her facial expressions.
"It was through the hand that I stabbed him." The girl replied, although truthfully, she wished she'd actually killed the man back there.
But who was she to pass judgement on others?
"As long as you didn't actually kill him." Yushiro replied after a brief pause, looking relieved before his face returned to his usual scowl, going back to his stool. "Hag."
(Y/n) stuck her tongue out at him and hurried upstairs.
"Shitbag!"
