'I'm gonna kill him!' I growl; stepping closer to the mirror and moving my hair to get a better look. Gran looked at Pa with a funny look of which he returned, but neither of them spoke. I start muttering "colourful" words as I realise the wolves have training tomorrow, and this is gonna be on full display! God damn you Shaz!

'I'm going to bed, hopefully this,' I point to my neck. 'Is gone by tomorrow.' I muttered in annoyance, before stomping upstairs to my bedroom. I closed the door and groaned. Why, why me? Why did I have to be mated to one of the most powerful and arrogant persons of the kind that I have hatred running so deep? Why? I gave up, dragged myself over to my bed before collapsing on it and falling into a dreamless sleep.

I was awoken by the sound of my door being opened; I looked around for the intruder, to find no one. But I wasn't in my room; I was lying in a meadow that looked surreal, tall pines surrounded me, there was river nearby filled with crystal water that flowed gently. The sky was bright from the light of a crescent moon, I lie between two pines; they're making a bed with their roots of which I lie on. Soft grass, mushrooms and moss, it's another world that I'm in. A breathily chuckle that sounds of wind chimes interrupts my thoughts.

'Hello Rosémary, I've been waiting for you.' The voice is soft yet affirmative; I sit up and stare at her. She truly is beautiful, long, silver hair that goes to her waist, pale skin, violet eyes and she's wearing a floor length white gown. She smiles at me.

'Who are you? - Why am I here, and where is here?' I whispered confused, she just smiled and walked towards me. I back up.

'Its alright, I won't hurt you. My name is Selene.' She said , still smiling with her hands out in front of her; like she was approaching a wounded animal. Soon she she stood right next to me, with her hands extended to help me up. I gripped onto her petite hands with caution, I didn't know if Selene was dangerous or hell, even strong enough to pull me up. But to my surprise she hoisted me up with no struggle at all, which I found confusing due to her slim and fragile body figure. Selene smiled.

'Now, I suppose you want answers; yes?' Her eyebrow quirked up, I nodded; it was the only thing that would help me right now. With a small wave, she turned her back on me; I noted how she walked with grace and the power that seemed to be illuminated by her presence. Selene turned back to me,

'Come, I must show you something. I will answer your questions as we walk.' I rushed to her side and we began to walk once again, taking in all my surroundings as we passed them. This place was truly beautiful.

'What's your story Selene?' I asked; as I walked beside her, this one seemed to catch her off guard. She turned to me and smiled. Again.

'What do you mean?' Selene asked innocently, trying to avoid the topic. I crossed my arms and stood in front of her.

'I mean; what have you done, who are your parents?' I snapped at her, but the sound of deep thunder made me freeze. She merely offered a weak smile, then took firm hold of my hand. I wanted to protest but when she looked at me with such sad, miserable eyes, I just couldn't. So I let her lead me into the trees; slowly walking up the hill we seemed to be on, just next to the stream.

'Moonacre.' She said, breaking the silence; but confusing me.

'What?' Her smile returned to grace her lips.

'This place; is called Moonacre, that's where you are. And this place is the Other World.' I looked up at her.

'"Other World", what is that?' She hummed in amusement; clearly enjoying my confusion.

'The Other World is a place where certain spirits come after they pass from your world, it's a resting place.' Selene approached a barrier of trees, and looked like she was about to walk straight into them. But as if they sensed her; they peeled backwards creating an archway for her to pass through, when she passed through to the other side, she stopped and waiting for me to follow. I wasn't sure whether to or not, but taking a deep breath and following my instincts; I followed. Once I was through, the branches closed up once again, I turned back to Selene; whom was still watching me.
