After that mishap, Jeremy continued to walk away in an abrupt manner, as Jennette chuckled seeing how his ears turned red. She didn't also knew why she had done such thing, but she had read couples often do that. And since they were married through papers, they could count as a couple, right?

" Don't squawk there, Follow me closely! " Jeremy shouted, his cheeks still having the pinkish hue. While handing out his palm to Jennette, the other girl he would hand out his palm to.

Jennette took his hand, as Jeremy intertwined them. The sudden action was surprising, but none of them cared a bit. As they continued to take slow steps, strolling around the place.

'Not' noticing a few pair guarding them,

" Lucas, your invisibility magic is really useful.." Athanasia awed, wondering to herself if she is able to do this magic as well. While ijikiel, The heir himself was looking intently at Jeremy.

Lucas scoffed at the two, " well aren't you two so diplomatic friendly to him " he retorted, really tired about how the two teamed up and fussed just because of a certain chimera. " can't we just go down there? "

" No. " Athanasia replied abruptly, before looking at Lucas. " Jennette will be sad if I interrupted their date..! "

Doubt that. The two boys thought, seeing Jennette favor literally Athanasia over anyone else. ' the princess doesn't know how Jennette really loves her.. '  ijikiel sighed, before he went back to watch The two who were having their own date. Before slamming his fists down onto the roof they were on.

" they're gone!! "

" what?! " The lucathy duo looked at where they last saw the couple, before panicking.

Lucas rolled his eyes, as he pointed at where the dance floor was. " looks like they're headed that way " as per mentioned, they can see the couple running towards the dance floor.

It wasn't long before the trio followed suit,

Fuck. Jeremy cursed, as he held jennette's hand tightly. He couldn't detect who was following them, but he could take a few rough guess. Did someone order a few assassins to kill him and Jennette?

He internally cursed whoever did, as he glanced at the confused Jennette. " Do you trust me..? " Jeremy asked, prominent veins evident on him. But it wasn't towards to Jennette, rather towards who was following them.

Jennette pursed her lips, before she spoke in full confidence. " yes, yes I do. "

Jeremy's eyes twinkled, as he grinned. Sliding a flower ring onto jennette's finger as he slid one as well, both of them switching eye and hair color. Both of them fastened their pace and went towards the crowd of people dancing. As they flowed right through the dance.

As the dance finished, The couple took the chance to deliberately ran away. As Jennette laughed harmoniously, the feeling of freedom made her happy.

She never ever thought she would be able to experience something like that, but she tightened her grip onto Jeremy's hand. Her smile shining so ever brightly.

The two truly enjoyed the fun they had, not knowing the true horror they will face as the time goes on.

Somewhere**

" Ack—!! " A passerby screamed, as they watched the whole massacre happen right in front of their eyes. Roxana huffed, as she walked right through the corpses. Feeding the butterflies as much as they needed.

She stared at the sky, before frowning even more. " if it weren't me being sent to this hellhole, Cassis would've been able to escape already.." she groaned, remembering her own plan being destroyed by just a mere mission.

Roxana clicked her tongue, before she turned away. " It's almost time for me to go back, This time for sure, letting cassis escape will work. "

" but before that, I wonder how Jennette is faring these days..." Roxana muttered, stepping onto the corpse of the dead men on the ground.

It's been...5 months since she came to the agriche after all..

" AGAIN. " Charlotte shouted, as she watched Lewell threw a dagger onto a dummy. The incident where Jennette saw her deeds, Charlotte knew she couldn't stay beside Jennette who was horrified of her. So, she's training jennette's maid to protect her atleast.

She missed the warmth whenever she's with Jennette, a warmth that she couldn't even get from her own mother. An Agriche never deserves those kind of warmth, Charlotte was a person who killed for the fun of it.

But now...

Is this really fun?

Is what she asked herself, to be a respective agriche and survive. You have to kill before they kill you. That was the mindset all of them endured, and a mindset that an agriche should really have.

' I can't falter...' Charlotte clenched her fist, as she reminisce the times she spent with Jennette. Maybe it was for the better, to show her the ugly nature of the Agriche.

" it's for the best..."

Charlotte hoped, she hoped that she could've had more times spent with Jennette. It was not fit for an Agriche, so she shouldn't.

Ah...maybe she really did like Jennette after all...

" it's interesting, " A girl chuckled, as her golden eyes flickered in mischief. Her flower pupil rotating as she looked at Jennette.

A guy with magenta eyes looked at her with discontent, " What is exactly interesting, Sol? " he asked, clearly not in the mood for jokes.

Sol rolled her eyes, as she grinned. " That girl, she's bound to be struck by a bad luck soon..." she pointed at Jennette, who was talking with jeremy quite happily.

" You don't get to exactly see that commonly, I feel bad...The girl herself will be running away..to who? To where?" Sol grinned, as she spun the pen she was holding enthusiastically.

The pink haired man behind her grumbled, as he tied his hair into a high ponytail. " You're gonna be the death of me.."

Sol winked, before turning her attention to Jennette. " Rhoshyn, do you think we're summoned to exist just first something?"

" who knows " Rhoshyn grumbled before he looked at Jennette, not amused to see how gullible she was. " Let's just wait and see '
