A conflict between black aura and red mana erupted, sending shockwaves through the surrounding area. The ground underneath them quivered, unable to support their vast strength.
Even the highly trained mages entrusted with guarding the royal family were overwhelmed by the scale of their confrontation. Even with their greatest efforts, they were unable to restrain the enormous destructive powers that the warring those opposed had unleashed.
"Where the hell did you come from?!"
A resounding frustration filled Redika's voice. His perfectly calibrated mana, intended to set off the bombs, spiraled wildly through the air, failing to find its intended target, and his eyes became wide with disbelief.
It was not as if he anticipated this man to possess equal strength. If things keep going this way, his plans will be modified.
"It seems I should get rid of you first."
As the mage's words hung in the air, Choi Han stood firm, not backing down. Rather, he fearlessly charged in the direction of the mana, his aura poised to burst to block the mage's spell.
'He's stronger than I remember when he used to be at this time. Did he retain his strength even returning from the past?'
Simply by hearing the swordsman's mention of the mage's name, Choi Han and the other heroes did, as the redhead had predicted, return with their power and memories intact.
It appears with the assumption that the gods are forced to provide the heroes a chance to save the world by traveling back in time.
Without trusting any of gods' words, Cale merely clicked his tongue and observed as the two insane individuals engaged in a mana and aura duel.
His eyes drifted to Choi Han, whose aura glowed with pure, bottomless might, and he hurried back towards the mage, who appeared to be distorted the more they fought.
The mage swore, gritting his teeth and refusing to accept the fact and shouted. However in a split second, a sword came running down to his face.
"!"
Using his mana to block, the shield broke as soon as he created it, and with pure strength alone of the swordsman, it continued to slash the mage who was attempting to flee.
- Is it not time for us to intervene? This magician will not survive at this rate.
The white owl's voice resonated inside his head. Far from being worried for the crazy mage, Wynter's indifference could be clearly sense, focus only to accomplish the purpose that the redhead was supposed to do.
The same thought occurred to Cale as well. But first, he had to subdue that wild dog and make sure the rest of his party wouldn't get in the way if he intended to kill that crazy mage for himself.
However, it will draw unwelcome attention.
It's a given that those particular people wouldn't leave him alone if he called out solid frozen ice that totally negates their mana and aura.
Since the king was involved as well, Zed might be able to find a method to keep him safe.
"Young lord."
"Is there something I could help you with?"
Cale returned the call from the man with the veil with a casual remark. It was the man who stood next to the king when Zed and Cale were having a conversation.
Shaking his head, the man said. "It is nothing like that of a sort. I'm here to deliver the message from his majesty."
"Sir Liam and the rest of trustworthy knights of the king assigned to be your escort are waiting outside the wall. I'll be leading you to an escape route after you finish your wishes to deal with it."
