Dear diary part 3

Hannah's P.O.V
January 9
Dear diary,
Today the hole school was evacuated, and nobody knows why. About ten minutes ago I found one of my friends, Sarah. "Hay Hannah, what's going on?" Sarah asked " I have no idea, have you seen Emily I have been looking everywhere for her." I asked. " no, I haven't let's look for her a little more then if we don't find her then we will go bake into the school and see if she's in their. Okay?" She asked and I nodded.
(10 minutes later)
We still couldn't find her so we ran to the class she would of been in, math. When we got to the class room we found Mike in front of us with a sword in his his hands, and his eyes were red and puffy. "what in the world happened in hear Mike, and where is Emily!?" I yelled. He Simply pointed behind him, and then I saw it. Emily laying on the ground dead. I ran as fast as I could to her unmoving body I took her pulse and hoped to feel the soft thump of a heart beat but I felt nothing. Then I noticed that on her back were Huge. White. Wings and then I remember when we were in the cafeteria. When those things attack and she killed them. She was are protector, and she gave her life to keep us safe. I cried at this thought, I cried at the thought of my friend being dead. I felt as if someone ripped out my heart and threw it towards the wall. My mind went blank and I don't know how long I sat there with silent tears falling. When I felt a tap on my shoulder and I say Sarah with her blond hair framing her face, she handed me a pice of paper and I saw that it was a letter. I read it with cushion.

After reading that letter I had more questions then I had started with, but I also felt like a wight had been lifted off my shoulders. Knowing that she didn't die in vain, and it wasn't are fault. Knowing that she is free from her worldly burdens.

(I know it's a short chapter but it's late and next up is how that get... Well you're going to have to read to find out.)
