The Audition 2

A lot of people has been auditioning for the past 3hours and only two people were left. I was the last person and i was already scared. I couldn't see them but i could hear their melodious voices from where i was sitting. I knew in about half an hour i would be called upon but I wasn't as courageous as i was earlier.

"Nervous much?" Without seeing him, I could tell it was Alexander. This wasn't one of those funny moment of his but I didn't want to sound rude and he was the COO of this company so putting on a smile and wanting to satisfy his curiosity I answered him.

"You don't have to get all stressed out over this my love, it's just an audition. I could just give you the place of the number one artist without dropping any sweat" what do you say to that?

I was so annoyed that he didn't think me capable but not wanting him to know how i felt I decided to play along.

Can you really do that? I asked and he started blabbing about how he was the COO of the company and his best friend was the CEO and that he had equal right to the CEO. I had wanted to answer him when i heard my name.

I smiled a fake smile at him and walked away. Keeping my anger at bay, I proceeded to the front stage.

My eyes were closed and after breathing in and out, i began singing.

I opened my eyes and stared at the judges. It seems one of the judges wasn't around because one of the chairs were empty.

20minutes later

"That wasn't bad"

Turning around, i came face to face with none other than Xavier. How come his here?
He smirked at me and took the microphone.

"You're in"

I was dumbfounded for a minute, but suddenly came back to my senses.
Shit! How did i miss this? The CEO of this entertainment company was none other than Xavier. Oh no! I had a one night stand with my future boss.
