"Daddy..." A snooty whine escaped a certain pink haired horse girl as she called out from the corner she had been put into for now the last five hours! Okay technically it had only been about ten minutes, but to Diamond Tiara it was going on five hours. The 10 year old pony (I am basing ages off the mlp show not Equestria girls, and this is the best estimate) had been practically dragged by her father, Filthy Rich, and then stuck in this corner while the adults were talking. By adults she meant Applebloom's older sister, hero of Equestria, and apple-farmer. Applejack.

"Diamond Tiara, hush now." Her father ordered firmly as he went back to the coffee he had been offered by Applejack. He rolled his eyes slightly at the small stomping fit that came from his daughter before turning his eyes back onto the 2nd oldest of the apple-family. "Again I am terribly sorry for my daughter's latest antics regarding your sister, however I must ask once more Applejack. Does this really have to put an end to our family's long time business relationship?"

Applejack took a sip of her own coffee, it being nearly as hot as her blood felt the second her little had come back home in a mess of tears and sniffles. The cause of this trouble, being the little brat that was currently still standing in that corner, doing a lot more huffing and puffing than thinking if you asked her. It had been a long conversation the other day and upon hearing what that little brat had done once more, daring to mock her little sister on the day of their parent's death. Applejack truly had had enough, the rich family (both in name and status) had been long time partners and even friends of the apple family. Especially when it came to zap apple jam, and their famed apple cider. However, there was only so much that Applejack could take, and if they could not get their only daughter in line. Then there was only one more thing left that Applejack could do.

Cut the ties between their families.

It was a hard choice that she went to seek advice from her friend and one of the four princesses of the land Twilight. Who assured her that this was the right thing for her to do, and that she would support her. After all, being one of the six heroes of the land, as well as friends with a certain princess only got her family more business. Unlike in the past, they could afford losing the Rich family now. A price that she was perfectly fine with paying now, after all they already had orders going out across the land for their prized apple products. She had sent the man a letter informing him of her choice.

Applejack both expected and did not expect for him to come knocking on her door an hour later. Diamond Tiara's ear firmly in between his fingers, asking for them to talk. Unlike his snob of a wife, he was always more kind hearted, he did what was right for the most part, always the one to put his daughter in place when she truly needed it. However, there was only so much that short groundings, and small scoldings could do to keep a bully from going back to their ways.

Applejack slowly shook her head at the man. "With all due respect, your business and your friendship has been a great thing sir. However, I see no other way to protect my little sister, than to cut these ties. Your daughter has been nothing but a yellow bellied bully for most of her life. We have put up with it, I have asked my sister to hold her tongue and remain humble, ignore her. But when it happens every single day, there is only so much I can do. Yesterday was the last straw, she burned that bridge when she made fun of our parents death, a low blow that no youngin should resort to."

Flility Rich let a deep breath escape from his nose. "It is a shame, but is there anything that we could put in place, Applejack? Something, anything at all, have my daughter work on your farm for a bit, teach her some good old fashioned earth pony hard work. Perhaps during the coming cinder season, I know you all work twice as hard during those days."

"Sir," Applejack began as she looked from the man, into her living room where the young lady was standing in a nearby corner still. "Quite frankly the thing that would do your daughter the most good, isn't hard work, though that would help. It is a good old spankin if you ask me." Applejack was not the only person in their town of Ponyville that thought the girl could benefit from a good smacking, or two, or five.
