I shot up out of bed, my heart racing as my alarm went off. Fuck! Why someone decided to make an alarm that literally sounded like you were right next to a boat I will never know. I slammed my hand down on the alarm shutting it off as I rolled out from under my covers. A shiver ran down my back as my wall of safety was no longer around me. I walked into my bathroom, feeling as dead as it gets.

I stared at my reflection and turned to the closet behind me. I took out my supplies and started to brush my dark red hair so it no longer looked like bats were inside. After brushing my teeth I walked out of the bathroom and went to my closet, taking out a black crop top and a dark gray hoodie. I put on a pair of dark jeans and slipped on my favorite pair of light blue converse.

As I walked down the stairs I heard my parents talking in the kitchen. Wanting the element of surprise, I snuck around to the counter top and sat silently for a moment. I waited a few seconds before jumping up from my hiding place and practically screaming, watching a horrified look on my parents face appear. I could barely contain my laughter as I walked around the counter and snatched a piece if bacon off my dad's plate. My dad looked up at me, raising an eyebrow. "What? It's not like you were planning on eating it" I said glancing at my mom, unaware of our conversation. A smile started to pull at the corner my father's lips but he quickly hid it from my mother as she narrowed her eyes at him. I walked over and kissed my mom on the cheek before grabbing my black book bag and heading to the door. "Bye guys I'll be back later! Dad make sure not to die from mom's cooking while I'm away!" I manage to scream and run out of my house, not giving my mom a chance to chase after me. To bad I heard my dad's laughter from the open windows

I walked to the bus stop indicating that it was around 6:50. I sat on the curb, blasting music into my ears while waiting for the bus I like to refer to as hell arrives. I was sitting peacefully until someone grabbed my shoulders from behind which practically scared me shitless. I turned around to my friend Wesley laughing is ass off. I gave him one of my famous death glares befire punching him in the shoulder. "Oww!" Wesley complained as he rubbed his shoulder.
"What the hell was that for?!"

"Scaring me shitless!"

A smirk started to play on Wesley's face as he sat down on the curb with me, waiting for hell to arrive. Wesley was one of my best friends around here. He had a sort of skater look to him with his mop of chestnut brown hair and tall figure. He had dark green eyes to match mine, the only difference is the amused look that appear in them 24/7. "So what's up?" Wesley asks, flipping my dark hair around like there's no care in the world. I swatted his hand away quickly while turning to face him.
"I don't know nothing really, besides me being scared out of my fucking skin twice today" I reply casting a quick glare at him while flipping his own hair back.
"Hey! This took a long time to do this morning!" He complains, slapping my hand. "Sorry pretty boy, I didn't mean to ruin your morning by messing up the mop you call perfection" I say smiling sweetly not holding back on any of my sarcasm. Wesley rolls his eyes in response. The conversations continued between the two of us before we heard the squeaking of our rusty hell on wheels of a bus approaches the stop sign. We both stand and load the bus not knowing what the day would have in store for us.
