I woke up in a small room. It was too dark to see much around me but I was well aware of what happened before I got here.
The others are probably flipping the hell out right now...I hope they're not here with me.

I heard a clicking sound and the door infront of me opened. I rolled my eyes and turned away as Riley walked in.
"Hey Autumn, how have you been..?"

"It was perfectly fine until now Winston."

"Aw come on, your still pissed at me?"

I turned my head to glare at him.
"I don't know Riley, I wasn't pissed at you until you decided to shoot me!"

"Look I'm sorry about what happened...Lilac and Ashley are the ones that let me stay with them."

"Ashley is here too? God I should've known. So what is Lilac your bitch now?"

"No Autumn! Nothings going on with us! I told you that they took me in. She told me to shoot you!"

Riley Winston used to go to our school before he transferred due to multiple fights he got into with Chase. He was the only kid who could actually beat Chase in a fight.
Riley had dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He was a bit shorter than me and he was definitely tanner than me.
Riley and I went out a while back before he was transferred to the school across from ours. He was a couple months younger than me as well.

Things didn't work out with us due to cheating, so we sort of went to this awkward phase and just avoided eachother. We texted occasionally but I didn't know he'd be the type of guy to fall for a complete whore.

I narrowed my eyes. "How am I supposed to believe you? We didn't exactly end on good terms."

"I know I know, how many times do I have to say sorry to you?"

I pretended to think about it for a moment. "A million."
He dragged his hand across his face and looked at me.
I looked back, keeping my expression blank.
He sighed and sat down next to me.

"Aren't you supposed to be bowing down to the bitches of royalty instead of sitting in here with me when I'm being held hostage?"

"Well actually I was sent in here to make sure you didn't die...then I was supposed to leave."

"Oh..well why don't you?"

"Are you saying you don't want my company?" He pretended to sound offended, earning himself an eye roll.

"I don't know what I want from you besides you telling me where I am and finding a way to get myself out of here."

"Look I can't tell you where we are.
I also can't let you out, yet. I'll figure out a reason to let you go."

I sighed, leaning against the cold, stone wall. "This is bullshit."

"I know. How's your arm?"

I glanced at it and grimaced. My arm was completely red and bruised around the wounds edges.
I watched Riley as he got up and left the room. A minute later he came back with medical supplies.

I narrowed my eyes at him as he sat back down next to me. "May I?" I nodded slowly as he removed the makeshift tourniquet above the wound. "Your lucky the bullet went through your arm Autumn."

"Yea im sooo lucky to be shot by my ex, thanks for making sure it didn't hit bone." I could've said way worse but I could tell he was hurt by what I said due to the sadness and regret that filled his hazel eyes.

He just continued to wrap my arm tightly to apply pressure and so it wouldn't get infected. Than he gave me some painkillers. He stood up and looked at me, the sad look still on his face as he shook his head and walked towards the door.
