Welcome to "Covet", dearest gentle reader!
This is the third story in a four-book-series, so I strongly recommend that you read at least the second one before diving into this one, because otherwise not a lot will make sense to you. Here are a few reminders and trigger warnings:
-Kate's and Anthony's youngest is called Lily instead of Mary, also she is not that much younger than the other siblings and Lady Mary is still alive -Amelia was pregnant at the end of "Burn", so a trigger warning for the first chapter considering a difficult childbirth -A general trigger warning about Victorian attitudes and period-typical homophobia through out this entire story, as well as violent homophobic actions towards a minor character in chapter 15
Otherwise the plot follows the TV-series canon as much as possible, since at the point of writing this only two seasons were available. For example, the Basset firstborn is Augie, not Amelia, as in the books. The Amelia in my stories is a completely different, original character of mine. Also, I obviously do not own any rights to any characters belonging to either Julia Quinn or Netflix. All rights reserved considering my own writing.
