I didn't expect the disappointment that I feel when there's no answer at the door. It's possible that Minho isn't in his room, but it's also possible that he's just ignoring me.

"Oh, what do we have here??" A voice that's not Minho's sounds through the hallway.

I freeze, my heart hammering in my chest as I realize who it is. Jisung stands before me, his eyes burning into mine.

"What are you doing?" He asks again.

"I'm trying to find Felix." I lie.

He crosses his arms over his chest with a smirk. "Really? Because I think you know that this is Minho's room."

I sigh in defeat. "Please, Jisung...just leave me alone."

He chuckles darkly, stepping closer to me. "I'm afraid it's too late for that. Your scent has been lingering in this place all day, driving me mad."

I stare him down as confidently as I can, trying to hide my uneasiness from him. His eyes narrow, a predatory glint appearing in them. "Why aren't you at The Lounge watching over your fragile human friends?" He cocks his head at me, waiting for my answer.

"I don't feel well." I lie again. It's not that I feel bad, I just feel everything right now.

He studies me for a moment before nodding, seemingly satisfied with my answer. Except he's not. "You're a liar."

"I don't owe you anything." I snap at him.

"You know, I was going to go to The Lounge for a meal later...but maybe now I don't have to." He grins, now showing his previously retracted fangs. They look longer than I remember. And sharper.

"Stay away from me." I warn him as sternly as I possibly can, while also subtly backing away from him to create distance between us.

His smirk widens and he steps closer again, closing the gap between us in a single stride. He reaches out and grabs my wrist, his grip painfully tight. "Oh, come on. I won't bite your neck this time, I swear." His hold on my wrist tightens slightly, but his smirk doesn't falter.

"Let go of me!" I order him, trying to yank my arm out of his grasp.

He ignores me and pins me up against the wall in a swift movement. I gasp at the unexpected force of his body colliding with mine. He licks his lips hungrily, still holding onto my wrist. His eyes are almost black with desire.

With a snarl, he tightens his grip on me once more, causing me to yelp in pain. He pulls me away from the wall and closer to him. I ball my free hand into a fist and try my best to land punches on him. He lets out a low chuckle, amused at my futile attempts to harm him.

He bares his fangs at me, eyes wild with hunger. He brings my wrist up to his mouth and brushes his lips over my skin. His lips press against my wrist, leaving an unwanted trail of sensual kisses as he slowly moves up my arm. Each kiss feels like a tiny bite, and I can feel his fangs scrape against my skin. I shudder, terrified and knowing that I'm unable to escape him.

"I wonder if you still taste as good as I remember..." He growls before widening his mouth and preparing to bite me. I hold my breath and shut my eyes as I feel the tips of his fangs slowly pierce my skin. But before he can fully sink his teeth into my wrist, he's torn away from me. I cry out as my skin rips and open my eyes to see him crashing into the opposite wall, leaving a hole in it. Immediately he's back on his feet, glaring at the culprit.
