My name is Isabella Aurora D'Angelo, and I'm an original vampire.

I'm also an original witch.

And a werewolf.

I'm the first and only tribrid.

But I'll come back to that.

I am the oldest daughter of one of the original witches and bloody viking father.

I have 5 brothers, 2 older, 3 younger, and a younger sister. Our youngest sibling, Hendrix, died 1000 years ago.

Over 1000 years ago, after Hendrix's death, my father drove a sword through mine, and my 5 siblings hearts. When we woke, he forced the blood of an innocent villager girl down our throats. Cursing us with immortality and an extreme thirst for blood.

900 years ago, my second oldest brother, Erik, met a girl, Lilith it was, she was beautiful, and she was also in love with my brother, until...

he killed her. He never meant to kill her. Truly, he loved her. I don't know what happened that day, and I doubt I ever will.

500 years ago, Erik, Matteo, our younger brother, and I met Katerina Petrova.

She looked identical to Lilith. Nothing was different.

That's when i found out about doppelgangers.

An unrelated look-alike, or a double, of a living person.

Matteo needed to kill her in order to complete the ritual, which would turn him into a hybrid, but she killed herself and became a vampire, leaving Matteo angry and wanting to kill her for what she did.

That's when she became Katherine Pierce, my best friend.
