Axl and I drove about and hour and sixteen minutes to Malibu, it was more like an hour and thirty minutes due to the slow drivers and morning traffic, since it was nearly 10 AM.

Music was blasting over the stereo of Axl's car as he kept driving, trying to find the exit of the freeway. The song playing, "Oh, Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison. Which was a song Axl and I both knew.

Axl's pov:

We finally made it to Malibu, music blaring all the way from the Sunset Strip to the destination itself. Of course I paid attention to the road, but I couldn't help but take glances over at Gracie. God damn, she looked pretty all up in my passenger seat of my car. Hell, she'd look hot on top of me, or below me.
God damn it! The thoughts flooded my mind as I tried to find the direction of the next exit.
I took a moment to take off my shades and put them in the cup holder.

"Hey, Grace?"
I said, looking over at her for a moment, as I smiled.

Back to me pov:

I turned to look over at Axl, as he spoke to me.
"Yeah, Ax?" I asked, looking at him, before he turned to look at the road.

Axl looked over at me once again.
"Do ya think we could take a night walk on the beach, y'know, later tonight?"
Axl asked me, as he changed lanes, once he spotted the exit sign

I smiled, nodding my head. The thought of taking a walk with Axl along the beach in the pale moonlight was something that really interested me.
"You always think of the best ideas, y'know?"

Axl chuckled, looking over at me for a moment.
"Yea- thought it would be nice, especially since we're already gonna be hanging out in Malibu for the day..."

-Time Skip-

It was later in the evening, around 5 PM. Axl took to some fish & chip place, and they had some pretty damn good food. Axl and I both got three fish tacos which came with a side of rice & beans.

"You know, I'm tempted to order a marg..." Axl said, as he poked my arm.
"No, nah ah. I'm not driving. So...."
I said back, poking his side, as we both laughed.

Axl and I finished off our food and we decided to head over to watch the sunset on the pier, which over-looked the water.

"Goddamn- this is hella gorgeous..."
Axl said, as he stared at the orange, yellow, and pink hues that were in the sky.

"Yeah- it's pretty...I haven't seen a sunset like this in a while..."
I responded back to Axl, as he looked over at me and smiled.

The conversation between Axl and I got a bit silent, as he took the time to look at the gorgeous view in front of us

Axl's pov:

I was sitting next to Gracie on the pier, both our legs dangling off of it. Let me tell you, the sunset was beautiful. But, the woman next to me was even more beautiful than the yellow, pink, and orange hues in the sky.

I couldn't help but look over at the beautiful women herself. Her brown eyes were almost hazelnut, due to the sun. And her hair, it was long and black and I've always wanted to run my fingers through it.

After about 5 minutes, I decided to speak up and try to make a move. I was hoping this was gonna go as planned.

"Hey Gracie?"
I said, nudging her arm.

Back to my pov:

I felt Axl nudge my arm, as I looked over at him, wondering what he was gonna say to me

"Yeah, Axl?"
I question back, I could tell he wanted to say something, but, he was hesitant.

Without a word, Axl reached out to touch my cheek. His rings brushing against my cheek. My brown eyes stayed looked onto his grey-blue ones. He slowly inched his face closer to mine. It hit me. He was gonna kiss me. Don't get me wrong, I didn't think this was ever gonna happen, but, it was.

He lifted my chin up a little, keeping it on placed between his thumb & forefinger. I could feel his breath against my lips. He smelled of the fish tacos, but, I did too, most likely. Our lips finally met. It was a soft and gentle kiss, not wanting to come on strong. His lips were so soft, and, it felt like I was in heaven.
