After two weeks...

Gayatri gathered her family in the grand sitting room in morning, her heart fluttering with anticipation.

With a determined gleam in her eyes, she cleared her throat, preparing to share the news that would change their lives forever.

"Ahem ahem," she fake coughed and began, her voice steady yet tinged with excitement, "I have something important to discuss with you all."

Rudra and Radhika exchanged curious glances, while Jai's brow furrowed in confusion as he also didn't have any idea about it.

Samrat, ever the pillar of strength, nodded encouragingly at his wife, urging her to continue.

Taking a deep breath, Gayatri revealed the bombshell that would shake the foundations of their world.

"Jai has made a decision about marriage... and he said yes."

Gasps of astonishment filled the room as the gravity of Gayatri's words sank in.

Rudra's eyes widened in disbelief, while Radhika squealed with delight, her face lighting up with excitement.

Jai remained calm as he knew this was coming soon after the talk of that night with his mother. That's why he was mentally preparing himself.

Samrat's smile widened as he turned to his son, pride shining in his eyes.

"That's wonderful news, Jai beta. I'm so happy for you. You made me really happy today. Now I will also brag about my daughter-in-law in front of my friends."

But before Jai could respond, Gayatri's voice cut through the chatter, her eyes sparkling with determination.

"Now, Samrat, it's up to us to find a suitable match for Jai. We must start looking for prospective brides right away. We shouldn't delay now."

Samrat nodded in agreement, his mind already whirring with possibilities and excitement.

"Of course, my dear. I'll begin making inquiries immediately."

But just as the family began to discuss potential matches, Samrat's expression shifted, a mischievous twinkle entering his eyes.

"Actually, there's someone I've been thinking about for Jai."

Rudra and Radhika leaned forward eagerly, their curiosity piqued. "Who is it, Papa? Do we know her?" they chimed in unison.

Samrat's smile widened as he revealed his master plan.

"It's none other than my best friend's daughter, Siya Singh. I've known her since she was a little girl, and I think she would be perfect for our Jai."

Jai's eyes widened in surprise, a hint of amusement playing at the corners of his lips. "Siya Singh? I ---"

But before he could finish his sentence, Rudra and Radhika erupted into excited chatter, their imaginations running wild with visions of their future sister-in-law.

"Wow, Jai Bhai, we're going to have our bhabhi!" Rudra exclaimed, his eyes dancing with mischief.

Radhika nudged her brother playfully, her grin widening. "And just think, we'll finally have someone to help us gang up on Jai bhaiya!"

Jai rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress his smile. "You two are unbelievable."

Gayatri, watching her children, felt her heart swell with happiness.
