Inexorable

"How dare you hurt Ravenna! Don't you know she's the most precious girl that I have ever known? She's like an angel, so kind and always generous. How dare you raise your hand at her, you fucking slut!''

Pakiramdam ko nabingi ako sa sigaw niya sa akin. Umiigting ang panga nito at nanlilisik ang mata sa galit habang pinoprotektahan niya ang epokritang babae na nasa likuran niya.

''Ano ang nahithit mo?'' kunot-noo kong tanong sa kanya, kaya itinuro niya ako agad.

''Wala kang karapatan pagbuhatan siya ng kamay, how dare you!'' sigaw niya sa akin, habang nagtatagis na ang mga ngipin niya.

Napatawa ako ng sarkastiko at napailing, hindi ako makapaniwalang tiningnan siya.

Pero nakuha ang atensyon ko ng babaeng nasa likuran niya at nakangiti lamang siya ng matamis pero kita ko ang paglabas ng ugat nito sa leeg niya, parang galit na galit ito.
