As the days turned into weeks, AJ and Milly's bond deepened, blossoming into a love neither of them had ever known. They graduated high school together, their future brimming with promise and possibility.

With one final kiss, AJ tore himself away from Milly's embrace, his footsteps echoing hollowly against the deserted streets. And as he disappeared into the night, leaving behind the woman he loved more than life itself, Milly wept for the loss of her beloved, praying for his safe return.
