"Geo, let me go,"

"Stay wit me for a minute."

"I have to go."

"But you always wit her. I don't want you to go."

"I'm always with you, too."

Ronald pushed me off of him and left the car. I shoulda held on tighter but something in me told me to let him go. I watched him leave the house from the inside of my car. Once he left, I got a lil attitude. Cause why the fuck he gon leave me for some funky ass girl? He keeps saying they "just friends" but I know they fuckin'. They gotta be.

I cross my arms and pout. "He really gets on my fucking nerves with that. Cause I'm better than her. He should be spending his time with me." I say, talking to no one but myself. Then again, I think, we're not together, so why should I care?

"Yeah, 'cause if you think about it, that's not my boyfriend. This is nothing serious. We just having fun is all." I say, still talking to myself. I'm right. Where he go is none of my business. But still, he shouldn't have left me like that. That's real fucked up.

Geo went back inside Devon's house with a small fit. He was so mad that Ronald had left him but he couldn't figure out why. They weren't together. He said it himself, they were never together so why should he care? Whatever it was, it surely got on his nerves.

"Yo, Geo, you good?" Michael asked him. Geo sat next to Genesis with his arms crossed slumping in his seat.

"Just peachy." He grunted.

"Where's Ron?" Genesis asked.

"He went to Kayla's house." Geo heaved out a heavy sigh, a look of annoyance on his face.

"I swear him and Kayla together or sum." One teammate said.

"They gotta be fucking." Another teammate joked. A few of the players laughed, though Geo found nothing funny. He had the urge to say, "That's my man y'all talking about" but then again, they weren't together, so he had no business caring.

"For real. Cause why you going over there all the time. I'm not buying the 'we just friends' BS." Geo ranted. He received a few looks.

"Damn, Geo, why you so mad?" Devon spoke up, a smug look on his face.

"It's nothing. I'm perfectly fine." Geo grumbled. He pulled his phone out and opened his messages. He thought about texting Ronald and telling him to come by his house later on but he was too mad to do that. Instead, he texted one of his hoes to see if he could stop by later on. Almost immediately, they responded, saying it was okay.

"You texting your hoes now?" Genesis jokingly asked.

"Yup," Geo said, popping his p. Genesis shook his head with a small smile.

"Of course you are." He laughed lightly.

"You know me so well!" Geo squealed in a high-pitched voice. He tried to joke to cover up the fact that he was mad but in the back of his mind, Ronald was still on his mind. It's like a little voice in his head told him to tell Ronald that he was sorry for being clingy and that'd be better.

It was weird, he thought, how much that urge took over his mind. Yet he never acted on it.
