The group finally extinguished the fire out of the shop. Willy was sitting there sadly on the steps as his dreams vanished. Lottie looked around and said, "I don't understand. What... What...?" Piper then finished her sentence. "What happened?" Zoey stared at the ash around and said angrily, "Isn't it obvious? My father and his goons." They all looked shocked to hear Zoey say this as Noodle said, "It's ok, Willy. We can start again, we can rebuild." Willy shook his head and said, "There's no point, Noodle. It didn't work." Zoey looked at Willy confused and said, "How'd you mean Willy?" Willy looked up at his lover and said, "She promised she would be here. She wasn't." Noodle looked at Willy and said, "Wait, you didn't really think..." Zoey then said, "Noodle hush now." Willy then said, "No, I did. Just a stupid dream." Zoey sat down beside Willy, grabbing his hand making him look at her when she said, "Don't say that. Don't you ever--" Mr. Crunch interrupted Zoey saying, "Come on, Noodle. I think Mr. Wonka needs to be alone."
Zoey just stayed with Willy as the others left. The two lovers sat in the burnt store within each other's arms. Then Zoey heard her father's voice, "Terrible shame what happened here." She got up and looked over to her father and said, "I take it you're responsible." Mr. Slugsworth smirked at his daughter and Mr. Wonka and said, "Us? No! Well, not personally. We may have "encouraged" Mrs Scrubitt to "enhance" your creations." Willy got up and looked at the Cartel and as Mr. Prodnose said, "We paid her to poison them." Willy was very upset when he spoke sadly, "So why have you come? To gloat?" Mr. Slugsworth walked up to the lovers and said, "Oh no, Mr Wonka. I don't waste my time with that sort of thing. We've come to offer you a deal." The two lovers looked at each other confused as Mr. Ficklegruber opened a case of money. "This is the precise amount you owe. This is for the number-cruncher, the plumber, the telephonist, the so-called funny-man... Yes. And this is for the girl."
Zoey didn't like this. Knowing her father, he was going to do something to make Willy do something he'll regret. "We've put in a bit extra for her. So, she can get a place to live. Clothes. Toys. Books. You could change her life, Mr. Wonka, change all their lives." Zoey looked over at Willy who seemed to actually think about doing what her father was dealing. "What would I have to do?" Willy asked, making Mr. Slugsworth smirk and say, "Leave town. And never make chocolate again. Leave my daughter so that she can marry a man of my choosing. There's a boat sailing at midnight. And for their sake, as much as your own, I hope you're on board." Zoey looked at Willy with a pleading look as Willy looked at her with a sad look as she said, "Please Willy. Don't believe my father. He's going to do something terrible."
Willy then said, "It's the best for you and Noodle." Willy kissed Zoey as Mr. Slugsworth grabbed his daughter's arm roughly and looked toward the police man. "Take her back to the house." But the police man knew to take her to the cartel base and lock her up. Willy on the other hand walked outside sadly knowing he was doing his best as he sang,
Willy
Sorry, Zoey. I guess I got carried away. Sorry, Noodle. I just wanted it to feel the way that it did When I was a kid. I hope you'll forgive me one day. Sorry, Zoey.
