October 1st, 1989. 12:00 P.M. 43 women around the world have birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer wanted to locate and adopt as many of these children as possible. He got 7 of them. Luther, Deigo, Alison, Klaus, Five, Ben, and Vanya.
23:28. A tall man with a long beard in a onsie walks out of his bed room and waters his plant, that's somehow alive? Space. It's odd. No gravity. No air. No socializing. Still gotta take the trash out though. Luther. Boring days. Exploring the moon, like he has for the past 4 years.
"SHOW ME WHERE THE SAFE IS OR YOUR FAMILY'S DEAD!" 3 people tied up with tape and rope while the weather report plays in the background. A home robbery. Seems more normal these days. But a shadow? Then an armed man getting knocked out? Oh. Well that would be Deigo. Hero complex. Always "saving" everyone.
All these flashing lights are giving me a headache. But that movie was "the number one show to watch while bored." More like if you're horny. But she's still looking beautiful, like always. Alison's assistant is blocking the shot though. How can Alison even answer the questions with everyone overlapping each other?! No but seriously. Turn the flash off, please.
"Hey, you, stay strong. I believe in you." Maybe sometimes he should listen to himself. Or Ben. You'll be back in rehab soon, Klaus. But enjoy your time out. "Stay sober!" They yell as he leaves the building.
Earth looks so much better from up here. "Incoming transmission." Finally, dad. Wait... What?
"You're family is safe now." Don't forget your knife. The news jingle comes on. "We're going now live to a breaking story."
"One more! One more! Alison! Al-Alison! Alison! Have you heard the news?!" What news? "When was the last time you saw your father?" More flashing. Again with the flashing. What's going on? Her assistant pulls her away. What?
*police sirens* Klaus. You just got out. You still have the wrist band on!! Whatever. Do what you gotta do to stop the voices, right? God Klaus! Too much! But you're back. Thank god, I guess. The news jingle plays again. "Moments ago, police reported the death of the most eccentric and reclusive billionaire."
The lights flash on as the spotlight turns off. She didn't finish her song. Why not walk home. It could be healthy. "Dad..." No. It can't be. Yes, he was an asshole but he was still our dad. Vanya. Remember what he did.
"God the house is just like it used to be." Vanya thinks. "Hey, mom." She says out loud. "Mom?" "Vanya? You're actually here." Allison calls out from upstairs. "Hey Alison." Vanya greet. "Hey, sis." Alison responds. Things have always been awkward around Vanya since she did what she did. Alison still gives her a hug anyway, it's been a while. "Ugh. What is she doing here?" Diego asks as he walks away, talking about Vanya. "You don't belong here. Not after what you did." He talks directly at Vanya now. God she wrote one book about her childhood and she's the asshole?! "You're seriously gonna do this today?" Alison asks as she shoves her hands in her pockets. "Nice to dress for the occasion, by the way." She remarks. "At least I'm wearing black." He shoots back. "You know what? I—Maybe he's right. And I shouldn't-" Vanya takes a step back. "Forget about him." Alison insists. "I'm glad you're here." Vanya gives a half smile as they sit there uncomfortably.
Diego walks upstairs, he hears something in their dad's room. Or... old room... I guess. Luther. Of course. Not believeing an old man died from heart failure. "I can save you some time." Diego annouces his presence. "They're all locked. No forced entry, no sign of struggle. Nothing out of the ordinary." He walks farther into the room, staring directly at Luther. "Oh, you got big, Luther. What's the secret, huh? Protein shakes? Low carbs?" Deigo seems genuinely curious. "What do you want." Luther asked, annoyed. Deigo sighs. He pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket and holds it out to Luther, "The autopsy report." When Luther reaches for it, Deigo moves his hand up, wanting to get under Luther's skin. "And you have this why?" Luther asks as he opens the paper. "Well that's because I... broke into the coroner's office. And surprise, surprise, Dad's death was... normal. Just a boring, old heart failure." Deigo sat down as he finishes his sentence. "Yeah, so?" Luther asks, not looking at Deigo. "So. why are you in here, checking all the windows?" Deigo questions. "Were you the first one on the scene?" Luther asks, glancing at Deigo. "Pogo found him." Deigo answers. "Yeah I talked to Pogo. He said he couldn't find dad's monocle." Luther states, like it ment something to Deigo. "And your point being?" Deigo asked. "Can you think of a single time you saw Dad and he wasn't wearing that monocle?" Luther and Deigo contiue their conversation while everyone else was doing there own thing. Vanya was in the main foyer, talking to Pogo. Klaus was trying to steal money for drugs. Alison catches him.
