"Army rapidly search for the mystery girl in this photo," I watch another video about Jungkook's scandal, "None of the seven men have confirmed or denied the rumour, probably for the best-" "Hey." I shut my phone off immediately when Jungkook walks into the room. "You're early."

I clench my jaw hoping he couldn't hear my phone from the hall. "Yeah," he nods, walking in with his hand behind his back, "I wanted to talk to you... alone before everyone else gets here." "Oh?" I stand up scared of what he is going to say. I know it's probably about the rumors, but I would rather hear nothing at all.

"Here," His arm extends to me, revealing a small glass frame, a single dried lilac sealed inside. I take the frame and hold it speechless, "I.." My face twitches and i shake my head in confusion. "I bought it on your birthday," Thankfully he speaks up so I don't have to, "I brought it everywhere with me after that. I thought you'd like a small piece of our tour since you had to stay here."

"I love it," I smile sadly, "Even more than that awful song you all sang in the UK." His head falls back in laughter, his neck extending as far as it can making me tense up. "Hobi picked the song. He said it was funny." "It is." I unintentionally step foward, but stop myself before I can throw my arms around him and embrace him.

I look back down at the frame awkwardly, "Ill keep it on my desk." I spin around and do just that, staring at it so that I do not have to face him. Thankfully he doesn't say anything else, but he stays still. "I messaged you," i slowly turn, "On your birthday." "I saw it." He smiles and nods, but doesn't tell me why he didn't respond.

"Well," clear my throat, "Today is dance battle day. I hope you're ready to get your butt whooped." "Only assuming I have to battle you." He crosses his arms and shifts his balance between his feet. "You admit then that I would win?"

I mock his stance and his grin only widens. He opens his mouth to speak but Jimin skips in, "Good morning!" He hands me a blue water bottle this time and I already know it's a different flavor for me to try. "Blue raspberry?" I guess before I taste it and he nods, "How did you know?" "Lucky guess." The three of us chuckle before starting today's practice.

After practice they pretty much beg me to come over, telling me about a big dinner Jin planned for everyone. How could I resist? Jungkook invites me to ride with him, but I decline. Im not comfortable driving with another womans boyfriend. So instead I drive with Hobi and Suga.

We get to their place a lot faster than when Jungkook drove me so I am showered and dressed before Jungkook gets home. This time I spend my time in the kitchen, helping Jin cook. Namjoon and Hobi stand around and keep us company, but Jin doesn't let them help.

"Here stir this." He hands me a spoon and points to the pot on the stove. I do as he says, holding the handle with my free hand to secure it. "I see everyone has new hair styles." I look over at the three boys. "Like it?" Joon runs his hands through his purple mullet.

"It suits you." I nod looking at Hobi's bright red hair and Jins pitch black hair, "You all look really nice." "You should dye yours too!" "Good luck," Jimin and Tae enter the room cutting off Jin, "I already tried to convince her."

Thankfully they don't push the subject any further. "Thanks for the clothes by the way Tae. Soon I'll owe everyone a brand new wardrobe." I laugh but he shakes his head, "They're not mine, they're Jungkook's. He insisted." "Oh," i nod, "Okay then."

I should've known. I sneak a sniff when no one is watching. The same cologne that I smelt on his other hoodie. It feels good to smell it again since I recently washed it. I grasp the spoon tightly and stir the pot, my mind completely empty.

"Is dinner almost done?" Jungkook joins the group sounding upset but no one asks why. "Yeah just five minutes," Jin nods handing plates and chopsticks to the boys, "You guys set the table." They don't protest and head out to the formal dining area leaving me and Jin alone in the kitchen.

"Scavengers." He chuckles taking a bite of the rice before grabbing the entire pan, "That should be done now. You can put it in the center of the table." Nodding I follow behind him with the hot container. The boys are still setting the table so we have to be careful when we set the hot pots down.

Thankfully no one gets hurt and Jin runs back for the sides. Smiling I take my seat, Jungkook instantly plopping down beside me. "Looks delicious," he whispers as everyone takes their seats, "Jin hardly lets anyone help him cook." "I'm flattered." I look over the steaming food as my stomach growls.

"You should be." I tense up when his warm hand sneaks over my knee. I don't want to, but I force myself to push his hand away, acting as if nothing happened. "Tonight is very special," Jin hushes all the chatter around the table, "Tonight we celebrate the birth of our dear friends! Bora, Jungkook and Joon."

Everyone cheers except for Jungkook. Even I force myself to clap even though I am dying on the inside. How could he do such a thing? Why does he tease me so much? And why does it hurt so bad?

"Tonight we party!" Suga raises his shot glass and the boys match his actions. Most of them drink some form of alcohol, but me, Tae and Jungkook don't. I have water and the boys have a soda. With the first toast everyone starts making their plates.

"Thank you for the clothes," I finally break the tension, "Tae told me you insisted I wear them." "I like the way you look in my clothes." My breath hitches and my eyes shoot over to his. The corner of his lips curl up but he doesn't offer me a full smile.

Turning away I continue to make my plate in hopes of distracting myself, but it doesn't work. "I have an early birthday present for you Joon." I remember and stand up. "Oh?" He rubs his hands together maliciously, "What is it?" I don't answer as I round the table and dig into my bag.

"Tada!" I hold up the small rectangle that is wrapped in golden paper. I skip to him before holding it out with both hands. I stay put when he takes the present, unwrapping it fastly. He looks at it surprised and confused, "It's the book I bought you?"

Smirking I lean forward, "I finished it." "Really?" he exclaims, "How was it?" "Still not a fan, but I thought I owed it to you." I pat his shoulder and he smiles happily. "Thank you." He holds the book close to his chest and nods respectfully.
