Half of the boys have to be carried to their beds after the long night of partying. The others slowly make their way past the mess they made, finding sanctuary in their own beds. Jimin needs my assistance to his bed.
"I love you," He slurs making me laugh, "No I'm serious! You're like my little sister!" I can barely understand him through the alcohol filter. "I love you too, oppa." I cover him with the blanket, but he's already asleep.
"Hey," I turn to see Jungkook half in the doorway, "I'll grab my keys." I nod in agreement before he walks away, knowing he's the only one awake to take me home now. I leave Jimin in his room, and retrieve my bag from the living room.
I look around for a moment before sneaking down the hall to Jungkooks room. Thankfully Tae gave me a house tour so I don't have to search for it. I crack the door open and find the room nice and tidy. It's dimly lit and decorated in black and beige.
It smells just like his cologne and I take a deep breath before reaching in my bag. I pull out his hoodie, the one I grew attached to. I look at it for a moment before folding it and setting it on the edge of his bed.
"What're you doing?" I twitch when I hear his voice, but I don't turn to face him. I can feel his gaze on the back of my head so I take a step to the right to give him a better view of the hoodie. "Mei." He clears his throat sounding annoyed. "Thank you for letting me borrow it," I finally turn to face him, "I made sure it was washed before..."
"I don't want it back," he laughs nervously which only makes me more uncomfortable. "It's yours." I point to it then to my outfit, "I'll bring these back tomorrow." "What's wrong? Did I do something?" He catches me off guard when he takes a step forward.
"I'm just returning your things." I take a step backward and he doesn't seem very pleased. "Keep them. They're yours." "Jungkook I can't wear your clothes." I shake my head rapidly, half embarrassed half angry.
"Why not? Do you not like them?" "I love them-" "Then take them," He walks forward grabbing the hoodie from his bed, "You can have every piece of fabric in my closet if you wish." My heart races and my eyes threaten to water. "Jungkook what about her?" I watch his eyes carefully, but they remain confused.
"'Her' who?" He fiddles with the black fabric in his hands and It takes me a moment to gather myself before I answer. "That... girl. Your girl. The one the whole world is talking about right now Jungkook." My lips tremble when I talk so I clench my jaw to stop it.
"Bora," he tilts his head and drops his arms to his side, "Is this because that photoshopped picture of me?" "Ph-photoshopped?" My knees nearly buckle when I hear the word, my chest rising and falling at a rapid pace. "Yes," he nods taking another step toward me, "The only girl I concern myself with is in this room... right now."
I bat my eyes and look around the room for a reason to excuse myself. "Well." I take the hoodie back from him nervously and thankfully he smiles. "You haven't given me the time of day Mei... Why didn't you ask me?"
"I couldn't," I shrug, "I didn't think it would matter." "What does that mean?" He laughs again and this time it angers me. "Jungkook let's be real. You never made an effort to... You just.. tease and frustrate me every given chance. How could I trust you anyways?"
"Is that what you think I am doing?" He chuckles cockily, pressing his tongue against the inside of his cheek. "Yes! Even as kids you always had to have the upper hand. You always had to win!" "Oh really?" "Yes," I take a step back for every step forward he takes, "You get in my head and throw me off my game."
"And how do I do that?" He lifts and drops his arms making me want to punch him. "You know what you did." I turn when I nearly collide with the wall. "Oh," he smirks, "You mean the car ride." "Yes." "And that day at practice."
