4 - I missed you

Wubi lifts his head so fast I'm sure he hears something crack, his body is taken over by emotions his eyes get blurry and lips glue shut unable to express anything he runs towards the person on the bed and jumps on them letting out sobs "finally" he cries "finally...you're back"

"Hi" SuYu says his eyes barely open he pats Wubi's head

"Why'd you do that?...why would you do that?...."

"What? You mean why would YOU do that??...why were you ready to die?!" SuYu says finally remembering how badly he wanted to scold him "I knew something was wrong!" He exhales in frustration

"....why were you ready to die? You know I almost lost it? I can't- I don't know how...how to live without you! How does one live without air!? Why-" Wubi says "you don't know how many times I wished I was in the coma instead-"

"What makes you think I wouldn't have lost it!? Wubi just cuz I was in a coma does not mean I was at peace...I missed you...so fucking much" he says hugging him

"I'm sorry" Wubi sobs "I'm so sorry...all I've been thinking about since was what would've happened if I let you drive?...my family....they're horrible people I'm sorry" he exhales

"Look at you" Suyu says pushing him away to get a look at him "you've lost so much weight"

"Cuz of you! I was so worried I couldn't do anything...I wasn't living the air that I breath was not...producing anything new for me to take in" he chuckles "I was so tired but I couldn't sleep"

"I'm sorry" he kisses his forehead "....h-how
Long have I been out?"

"......1 month" he says and Suyu freezes

"I-.....I thought- I..." he freezes "I thought..." he says going silent and Wubi hugs him

"I know baby....I know" he says rubbing his back under him "life moved on but I never did..I've been here...I stayed here with you" he smile and Suyu laughs

"You always loved that back" he laughs and Wubi jokingly hits him letting go

"I guess you're okay now" he rolls his eyes "I will just-"

"Wubi" Suyu says studying him "....is something wrong with you?"

"Mm?"

"Did you get injured?" He clarifies and Wubi shakes his head

"You volunteered to do that instead of me" he rolls his eyes "plus it's been a month I'd be basically healed by now" he scoffs and SuYu exhales

"I guess so" he says "how's everyone?...has the exam passed!? What's the date? Where's Dou??" He says looking around panicked voice getting louder by the second

"Calm down" he says going closer "I missed you" he strokes his hair and Suyu blushes

"Wubi- stop it we're in the hospital" he says smacking the hand off from where it was not supposed to be "mmh- Wubi!" He whispers "are you serious- this is the first thing you wanna do-"

"I've hugged you, I've told you missed you-" he pauses to give him a rushed yet slobbery kiss "-now I've kissed you all that's left is...." He stops talking as he moves his hand under the hospital dress and-

"Sir here's the foo- AH!" The poor nurse screams running back out and slamming the door she pauses taking a deep breath and enters again to now find Wubi who's sitting on the guest chair with his arms folded glaring at her while Suyu who's smiling and waving at her is occasionally turning to glare at Wubi

"Hello" Suyu says with a smile to the nurse who's clutching onto her board

"H-hi umm I was sent to- check in some stuff with you" she smiles trying not to meet eyes with Wubi who's still glaring "do you have a headache?" She says checking him "you were out for quite a while...do you feel pain anywhere?"

"Mm...my eyes hurt" he says rubbing them and Wubi frowns but smiles when Suyu notices and smiles

"Mm that's probably caused by how long you were out but just incase though we will send a doctor to fully examine" she smiles and so does he

"Finally" Wubi says jumping up from the chair "baby you don't understand how much I've missed you seriousl-AHH!" he screams suddenly scaring both Suyu and himself they freeze staring at each other before he smiles trying to laugh it off but SuYu's worry does not fade "I'm fine!"

"...." Suyu examines his body from afar once again moving his eyes up and down slowly as if he's scanning him "you're hurt....on your legs" he says finally looking at the guy in the eyes

"I- Suyu-"

"Is it....bad?" He says his eyes tearing up "were you not checked by the doctors-"

"I...I was too worried about you" he says smiling "you know- you waking up kinda just...made it possible for me to feel pain! That shit didn't hurt before" he groans

"....I'm sorry" Suyu says tears finally streaming down his eyes nonstop Wubi looks over filled with guilt and self hatred he runs into a hug

"It's not your faul-"
