Days had passed since the two na'vi boys had fought, and since then they had not spoken to each other, avoiding one another as best they could. Neither of them was willing to even mention the other. Neteyam felt too duped and Ao'nung was hurt. Both were injured that day. No one understood what happened between the two of them. The only visible evidence of their conflict was Ao'nung's purple spots and Neteyam's bruised fist. No matter how hard the others tried to get them to at least hint at why they were falling apart, they always ran into blank walls. Thanks to this, they stopped asking questions after a while and left it to the two parties.
Neteyam was preparing breakfast for the others in the family Marui, as their parents had to leave earlier at Olo'eyktan's request. So, as always, Neteyam was tasked with taking care of his siblings. After Neteyam finished and was about to be seen eating, Tsireya appeared at Marui's door with Rotxo at her side. Everyone greeted them with a smile and invited them to eat, which the two Metkayina willingly accepted.
They had been eating and talking deliciously for some time and when everyone was nearing the end, Tsireya turned to Neteyam firmly and with determination in her eyes. "Actually, we came so early this morning for a reason." the girl started with an awkward smile on her face "We need your help. About the party."
Neteyam's morning cheerfulness disappeared. "No. I told you I had no desire to be a part of this. He does not deserve it.''Neteyam just looked in disbelief into Tsireya's eyes. The previous one did not clearly and understandably say why he did not want to participate in this whole event. He was still angry with Ao'nung, although the feeling was not nearly as strong as it had been a few days ago, he was still waiting for the other to apologize. He wanted to discuss things with the other, but his own pride wouldn't let him.
Tsireya took Neteyam's hands and looked into his eyes, hoping and pleading."Please! Without your help, we will not finish Neteyam!"
"No. I said-"
"Please! I'm begging you!" Tsireya looked like she was on the verge of crying, her eyes seemed to mist up and she only tightened her grip on Neteyam's hands.
"Then don't think of it as if you're doing it for Ao'nung, but for us!" Rotxo cut in, who was sitting across from Neteyam. "We really need you Neteyam. If it wasn't so important, you know we wouldn't ask you to do it."
Neteyam's muscles relaxed, he closed his eyes, and a deep sigh escaped his lips. Deep down, he felt that the whole thing was just going to cause him a lot of headaches. He still thought Ao'nung didn't deserve it all. But he felt he owed it to both Tsireya and Rotxo for being accepting of him and his siblings from the beginning.
As he opened his eyes, everyone looked at him expectantly. "Okay! I'll help with the decoration, but that's all" he said and looked at Tsireya. As the months passed, the two metkayina became almost as close to him as if they were his brothers, and precisely because of this, he could no longer easily say no to them. To everyone's surprise, Rotxo, overwhelmed with happiness, jumped on Neteyam and hugged the eldest.

Ao'nung had been waiting for his friend on the beach for some time, but when he started to get tired of it, he started looking for Rotxo, with whom he was supposed to do the tasks for the day. So he started to look around the village. At first, his family walked to the Marui, hoping that he must have just fallen asleep, but when he got there, he was surprised to find that his home was empty. Because of this, he continued to move through the village, mainly focusing on the places where Rotxo used to spend most of his time. While visiting Awa'atlu, Ao'nung took great care to avoid the Sully family's Marui from afar. This also gives a better chance of not having to meet and face Neteyam. The words were still ringing in his ears and driving him mad.
After Ao'nung walked around instead of everything else, at least twice, with a bitter taste in his mouth, the thought occurred to him that maybe, just maybe , his friend was in the place where he didn't want to go in the most. But it was their duty, so he gathered all his strength and set off towards the place he had so far avoided perfectly. As soon as he reached the entrance and looked through it, he saw Rotxo hugging Neteyam and thanking him something fiercely. He wanted to stop what was happening before his eyes as soon as possible. Ao'nung was jealous. Of course, he would never admit it to himself or anyone else. But he hated the sight of Rotxo hugging Neteyam.
Everyone had their backs to Marui's entrance, so no one saw that a new person had entered. "What is going on here?" As soon as they heard Ao'nung's voice, they turned towards him as one person. Tsireya looked around with a little but noticeable panic in her eyes. He began to worry that maybe his brother had heard what they were talking about and thus all his work regarding the surprise. As soon as Rotxo saw his friend, he immediately let go of Neteyam and turned aside with an awkward scowl on his face as he put his hand on the back of his head in confusion. Before Ao'nung could speak again, Lo'ak's voice rescued the two metkayina from the situation.
"It's none of your business, fish lips" he said with a cheeky smile on his face. He wanted to annoy the other a little, but immediately regretted his words, as Tsireya only looked at him with anger in her eyes and rewarded the boy with a punch on the shoulder. The question was clearly visible in his eyes: 'Didn't you think of something better?' Lo'ak just looked at her in confusion, not understanding what was wrong it.
Ao'nung, on the other hand, didn't pay much attention to Lo'ak's comment, as his eyes immediately fell on Neteyam, who was adjusting his accessories after Rotxo's unexpected attack. As soon as Neteyam felt someone watching him, he looked up and their eyes met. They stared at each other for a while as it had been a long time since they had even looked at each other, let alone made eye contact. Neteyam was surprised to find that Ao'nung's injuries, which he had caused, were already completely healed.
As soon as they remembered the incident a few days ago, both turned their heads in offense, refusing to look at the other.
The others fell silent at the scene. Kiri just started rolling her eyes in boredom. "You are childish" she said, while her eyes darted between them. They knew exactly that they were, but they were stubborn and none of them gave up their pride.
Holding back all the cursing, Ao'nung grabbed Rotxo's hand, taking a deep breath so he wouldn't make a scene right now. "We have work to do, remember?" he asked his friend with a hint of anger in his voice.
"Did the time fly by? Let's go quickly." - Rotxo panicked, and they rushed to their work with a fierce greeting.
"Thank you once again for your help" Tsireya said with a smile " I must go too, see you later!" he waved and started to leave the marui.
"In the end, you're not going to get away either" Lo'ak said, and Neteyam's answer was just a poke on his side.
