Episode 4: Peppermint's Backstory

Branch, Blossom, and Peppermint went inside the cantina

Poppy: Hi Branch

Branch: Hey Poppy

Peppermint: Poppy?

Viva: Who's your new friend Branch?

Branch: This is Peppermint Blossom's boyfriend

Peppermint: Hi!

Branch: Poppy. Viva. Peppy. I think that Peppermint knows you

Viva: How?

Peppermint: Dad?

King Peppy: Who are you?

Peppermint: It's me Peppermint

Then Peppy recognizes him

King Peppy: Peppermint!

Then the 2 shared a hug

King Peppy: I never thought I'd see you again

Poppy: Whoa okay. Dad who's this?

King Peppy: Poppy. Viva. This is your little brother Peppermint

Viva and Poppy: WHAT?!

Viva: You never told us

King Peppy: Because I never saw him grow up so I didn't have much memory of him

Peppermint: That's understandable, but I'm glad you remember me now

Poppy: Why don't you remember him?

King Peppy: It's a long story

Flashback:

An egg started to hatch and Peppermint came out

King Peppy (narrating): When Peppermint hatched your mother and I were so happy, but then it all went wrong

Peppermint was asleep in his crib

Then King Peppy and Queen Daisy woke up because they heard Peppermint crying

They went into his room

King Peppy: We went into Peppermint's room and we saw that an evil troll was kidnapping him. We tried to stop him but it was too late

Flashback ends

King Peppy: We never saw him again after that

Peppermint: Until now

King Peppy: What did that troll do to you?

Peppermint: Nothing

King Peppy: What?

Peppermint: He never took care of me or took me to his place

King Peppy: How?

Peppermint: There's another side to the story

Flashback:

Peppermint (narrating): After the troll kidnapped me he was taking me through the forest

Evil Troll/Shadow: Oh stop your crying! If I can't get my revenge on Axel then I'll get my revenge on Daisy by taking her kid

Then something hit him in the head

Evil Troll/Shadow: Who did that?

Then a young boy troll came out from behind the bush

Boy: I did!

Evil Troll/Shadow: Why you little you should be ashamed of yourself

Boy: No you should because that isn't your kid

Evil Troll/Shadow: You don't know what you're talking about and besides no one will believe you. It's my word against yours

Boy: Oh actually

Then the boy took out a recorder and played the sound

Evil Troll/Shadow over the recorder: Oh stop your crying! If I can't get my revenge on Axel then I'll get my revenge on Daisy by taking her kid

Boy: It's your word against yours

Evil Troll/Shadow: What?

Boy: It's called a hustle dude

Then Shadow saw the police coming and ran, but the boy grabbed Peppermint from Shadow

Peppermint was still crying

Boy: Shhh it's okay you're safe now

Peppermint calmed down

Boy: My name is Vito and I'll keep you safe

Female troll: Vito!

Male troll: Are you out here?!

Vito: Mom! Dad! Over here!

Then his parents came to him and saw Peppermint

Vito's mom: Why it's a baby boy

Vito's dad: Where did he come from?

Vito: I don't know but that evil troll took him and I saved him, but I don't know who this baby really belongs to

Vito's mom: You saved him?

Vito: Yes

Vito's dad: Good job Vito! We're so proud of you for standing up and doing the right thing. Who knows what that evil troll could have done to the baby

Vito: Since we don't know where he's from and he needs a home. Can we look after him?

Vito's mom: Well I guess we could he needs a home

Vito's dad: And we can't just leave him in the forest, but we'll have to try to find his real family

Vito: Okay and I can teach him everything I know

Vito's mom: What's his name? 

Vito's dad: I don't think he has one

Peppermint squeals

Vito: Hey his croco stuffed animal kind of looks like a peppermint swirl

Peppermint squeals

Vito's mom: I think he likes that name

Vito: Do you like the name Peppermint?

Peppermint squeals

Vito's dad: Well then Peppermint it is

Flashback ends

Peppermint: And I've lived with them ever since

Viva: Wow!

King Peppy: Thank you for looking after my son

Vito: It was nothing. He was a great adoptive little bro

Peppermint: I grew up and Vito and his parents taught me everything that I needed to know and then eventually I met Blossom and started dating her

Branch: How did you 2 meet?

Blossom: Well years ago when Peppermint and I were 13 Vito and Clara started to date

Peppermint: Then Vito brought me to their house and I met Blossom and was in awe of her

Blossom: We hung out for a while and then eventually we started to date

Poppy: Wow! A little brother

Viva: I can't wait to get to know you Peppermint!

Peppermint: Well we can talk at dinner
