nothing new - taylor swift ft. phoebe bridgers

I know someday I'm gonna meet her,

It's a fever dream,

The kind of radiance you only have at seventeen,

She'll know the way and then she'll say she got the map from me,

I'll say I'm happy for her then I'll cry myself to sleep.

OUTER BANKS.

3RD PERSON'S POV

As Laia prepared herself to face off against her aunt and her loyal canine-like bodyguard, Pope barged in like a bull in a china shop, his face twisted in disdain. "You assaulted my father."

The bodyguard shoved Pope back beside Laia, maintaining a fortress between him and the crutch-wielding Limbrey.

"Oh, I didn't assault anybody." Carla innocently countered, her gaze flitting to her niece as if to absolve herself of all wrongdoing. In response, Laia let out a derisive snort.

"He can identify the psycho from a mile away." Kie chimed in, eyeballing the guard who had apparently roughed up Pope's old man.

"Why would my employee a... a... assault your father?" Carla spluttered, shooting a glance at her guard, feigning innocence as she let out a peal of laughter. "That's absurd."
