With an exasperated sigh, Muzan threw himself back into his seat. He felt so burnt out, so tired—even while knowing that he is not a mortal, and therefore shouldn't feel this level of exhaustion. Muzan couldn't care less about the cure; right now, he could barely think straight. The back of his head collided against the chair, and Muzan's ruby eyes met the sight of what should've been the ceiling.
But no. He was met with the concerned face of his consort: Kokushibo. The latter must've entered the room when Muzan fell back in his chair. Though, Kokushibo's silence was a little unsettling; Muzan had no idea how long Kokushibo had actually been watching him.
"Muzan? Are you.. alright?"
Kokushibo's hands were held behind his back, but they quickly revealed their contents, which turned out to be a bouquet of roses. Aw. Kokushibo had came to give Muzan flowers.
"Ugh.. I'm not, my dear. But you're making it better."
Muzan was happy that he slumped back into his chair, he got an excuse to pull Kokushibo into his lap. Muzan obviously took advantage of that; he spun the chair around and scooped Kokushibo up into his arms. Muzan practically dragged—the very much willing—Kokushibo into his lap.
Muzan smirked, placing his hands on Kokushibo's rear end, and tucked his face into the side of Kokushibo's neck. A small gasp drew out of Kokushibo's lips, as he smiled and rested his chin on Muzan's head. He placed his hands on Muzan's shoulders, rubbing them, which made Muzan groan in relaxation.
"Here.. let me—"
Kokushibo muttered, as he began to rub and massage Muzan's shoulders. Even with calloused and battle-worn hands, Kokushibo did his best. Muzan really did appreciate it; he could easily spend the rest of his night like this.
