Pulling into Normani's mom driveway essence sits in the back singing loudly as chris puts the car in park glancing over at normani "when we get in here act like you got some sense" normani said to chris as she stepped out grabbing essence and her purse chris walked up to her giving her and essence a kiss on the forehead "imma act right mama i promise" he said as they walked into the house putting essence down she runs off with the dog as chris and normani make their way to her mom.

"hey momma" she said as her mom dropped everything and basically picked her up off the floor "my baby where you been where that little brown girl" she said stepping back admiring her daughter "hi grandma" essence said as she ran up to chris's leg "oh my sweet baby rays christopher is that you" she said covering her mouth "hey ma dukes" he said hugging her swaying side to side having their little conversation normani smile's hearing her grandma fuss at the dog she makes her way into the kitchen seeing her grandaughter "my grandbaby you got so big" she mumbled into normani's shoulder seeing christopher she popped him in the back of his head with her purse.

"ow OG what i do" he said rubbing the back of his neck "you left my grand baby here heart broken she looked depressed every day she came from school" she said crossing her arms " Grandma stop snitching" normani said dragging the g  as her grandma she raised her hands in surrender " come eat" normani's mom yelled as everyone made their way in the kitchen.

- During dinner.

"Nana this is really good" essence said as chris cleaned her mouth essence was getting close with everyone around her and she loved it here " so mani how's work" mani's grandmother asked as she chewed her stuffed chicken " its good got money coming in and a roof over our heads" she said as she earned a approving smile from her grandmother "thats good baby now to you chris" she said pointing her fork at him " how's everything on your end" she said squinting her eyes in his direction she intimidated him he's always been scared of her "i-its been good maam money coming in staying positive" he said rubbing the back of his neck "mm thats good you talking to anybody on the side" she asked twirling her fork in her hands as everyone sat back and watched " no ma'am jus mani" he said taking his elbows off her table earning a smile from her she placed the fork down.

" just gotta make sure son ion wanna hurt you" she said laughing as she ate her food normani looked over at chris and he looked like he went number 2 in his pants " baby calm down you alright" she said laughing softly as he laughed along with her. finishing dinner chris got up and helped normani's mom with the dishes and talked. a real special talk.
