On and on I go looking for
Somebody who has a soul that is kind
But also knows how to use his mindSomeone with a taste for adventure,
And bravery that doesn't scare him
Into getting in a new venture. He who knows how to protect me,
But wouldn't go around patronising me.Somebody I can go into deep waters with,
Still can giggle around about shallow things,Someone whose ambition knows no bounds,
But for me, he'll always come around.Yet what a pricking wound it is,
To know that such a creature does exist. But he is from my past,
For him, my memory didn't last.So I'll probably settle down with someone,
Who can't match up into being 'The one'.
