Chapter twenty-Lloyd's POV

It's been another two days and I finally decided to get my self out of bed. I was going to look for Brad again. I wasn't going to let him sleep alone on the streets. I cleaned myself up and stepped outside. The bright light of the sun felt warm on my skin. "What are you doing?", Cole asked. "I'm going to look for Brad again", I said confidently. He looked at Kai. They looked like they either thought I was going crazy or like they had given up. Maybe both. "I'm going with you", said Kai. I rolled my eyes. "Fine, let's go". We looked in the most random places for atleast an hour and didn't find anything. "Uh, Lloyd isn't that your shoe?", Kai said and pointed to a shoe that was tied up in a bush. I remembered that I had thrown it into the street a few days ago. "Uh, I don't think that's mine", I said. Kai raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. We got to a small street and were standing in front of a bakery. "Let's get a small snack", Kai said. "Ssh! I heard somebody talking". I had heard a voice from the inside of the bakery that sounded weirdly familiar. Kai was clunting his money to see if he had enoigh to buy both of us a snack. I tried to listen if I could hear the voice again but it wasn't there anymore.
