Somewhere on the darkest of nights that she would ever bear upon her innoccent soul, beneath the stars. A clear sky with bright, twinkling dimes shimmering like fractured pearls amongst the silt of a volcanic beach. Her form, a child's body lingering over a once terrifying foe.
The being was a Ghoul, a creature formed from humanity but with heightened senses and so forth... Their taste for flesh was their downfall and sadly this one had attacked the wrong people.
The Ghoul had attacked Tori and her friends... Her friends had been injured, they slept unconcious on the pavements either side of her as she had snapped. At which point, her hands had found something sharp from around her, that being a needle at the side of a skip. Likely to give the attacker tetnous or something if left untreated.. at the very least.
But in the way that she was going about it, they were going to die. Now, Ghouls aren't affected by human weapons, that's true.. But their eyes are still very much flesh and Tori - with a scream of insanity - lunged forth, piercing the used needle into the left eyeball of the Ghoul. She would go back and forth, up and down, yelling her hate and pain at this unsuspecting creature only wanting a feast... She then changed over and sliced into the other eye. She ripped out the right eye and held it in her hand, feeling its utter squish of flesh, the wetness of blood and the slippery pierced veil of his eye.
And what suprised this being most was how she disposed of it. She swallowed the Ghoul's eye. She took his other before it could regenerate and the man's Kagune came out to attack her. But Tori only had one thing on her mind and that was to protect her friends. So she did that. And she swallowed each piece of the man before he could do her friends or anyone else any harm. The mind of a child makes sense to only them.
So as to why she ate him... Ask the psychology of a child.
Tori Eikyuu was 13 when this happened. Naiive and faithful to her friends.
But after that day she could only watch as those friends grew up and moved on. They left her behind and so in turn she decided to find something for herself as well.
She followed some sense of interest and now, she had wound up somewhere in Japan.
Moved out from the country somewhere else in Europe and ended up in Tokyo Japan. She is currently looking through shop windows and smiling at pretty things she knows she might never have the pleasure of owning.. She wasn't exactly the richest of people. So instead, she winds up in a nice, little cafe. Out front it had said it was called, 'Anteiku'.
"Hi there, what can I get you today?" Asked a woman with short purple hair but as she picked up the scent of the woman at the table she dropped her notepad and pen. Something within her was coiling and writhing angrily and telling her to run.
But she didn't.
Tori carefully bent down and skillfully - without hitting her head on the table or anything - handed the pad and pen back to the woman from off the floor.
"Daijoubu?" (Are you alright) Asked Tori, placing the pen and pad in the woman's hands and encasing her hands round hers in an almost frightening affectionate way.
"Touka-chan, nandesuka?!" (What is it?) Asked a man with a large nose and strange quiff.
Touka was the woman with the purple hair, she turned to the man and said, "he-her..." She shakily pointed at Tori in her seat, her hands quickly slipping from Tori's embrace.
Tori looked confused as to why she did that.
"Wh-what about her?" Asked the large nosed guy.
Touka quietly whispered, 'her scent'.The man got closer to Tori and inhaled a very foreign smell. She smelled somewhat like a human but it was a foul stench... Something unknown, something terrifying. Something that seemed very... offputting. It was as if she were the most unwanted human.. like she gives off a scent that says 'do not eat me'... Which had never been done before and was quite scary.
