Y/n POV
It was... years ago.
7 years?
10 years?
How long has it been...
Since... the last time I saw you?
It was a simple game of hide and seek.
So...
Why haven't I found you?
Flashback (in 3rd person POV)
"Hey! What are you doing standing alone there? Come play!" A little girl ran towards a small blue haired boy that had been staring at the other children in the playground.
He flinched. "I... don't want to." He mumbled, shocked at the sudden appearance of the girl.
"Why notttttt? It'll be fun! I promise!"
"No."
"Ehhhhhhhh..."
After that day, the little girl would seek him out every day, much to his dismay (delight).
He still insisted that he didn't want to play, never explaining why.
So, the girl opted to just accompany him, chatting.
To her delight, he talked, more than she expected.
This quickly became a routine.
At some point, he didn't show up for more than a month.
She got really worried, going to ask all of her neighbors where the boy went.
Finally, she knocked on a door where a lady with the same blue hair as her friend answered. "Excuse me Miss! Do you know a boy named Kyo Kaneko? I haven't seen him for a loooong time! I think he lives around here!"
"Um..." the lady averted her eyes, looking into her house.
"Y/n...?" A familiar voice came from behind the woman.
"Kyo!" She exclaimed, running towards her friend with tears in her eyes. "I'm glad you're okay! Where have you been?!"
"Sorry..." he whispered. "Um..."
...
That day, the girl found out that her friend had a weak body, hence his refusal to play.
Instead of looking at him in pity, she only moved to sit on his bed.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Staying with you of course! We can do lots of things here too!" She beamed, warming his heart.
