I knew absolutely nothing about football, but they won. The crowd went absolutely crazy when Bailey threw the game winning touchdown. Lucas and Tim tried teaching me throughout the game but gave up when they realised it was pointless.
I was thankful for the ear muffs on Oaklyn because her poor little ears would have hurt so bad if she didn't have them. She was on her best behaviour during the game, she even had a nap in Lucas' arms at half time but now the game was over she was wide awake.
As soon as the game ended I was led down towards the field where the football team were celebrating. "Lilah you made it!" I smile and give Harry a friendly hug but quickly regret it when I realised he had just finished playing a game of football which meant he was sweaty.
My disgust continued for a while as I reluctantly gave George, Jake and Bailey a hug. The hug between Bailey and I lasted the longest. I smile and look up at him as we let go of each other. "Good game" he smiled and thanked me before looking over at Jake who was holding Oaklyn.
"It looks even cuter on her than I imagined" he spoke as he reached out for the baby, I smile and watch as she immediately tried to get out of Jake's arms. I pull my phone out and wait for Bailey to turn around. "Smile" I coo at Oaklyn, but both of them listened and smiled towards the phone as I snapped a couple photos of the two of them, and also a few with the others as well.
"Your turn" I stumble towards Bailey and Oaklyn as Lucas pushed me slightly. I turn and glare at him, he winked at me in return. I stand next to Bailey awkwardly not knowing how to stand for the photo.
"He won't bite you Delilah, put your arm around him" the guys laughed, I give them all the finger before putting my left arm around Bailey's sweaty waist and look up at him. He was already looking down at me with a smile on his face.
After a few photos I snatch my phone back off Lucas and put it in my back pocket, mentally reminding myself to look at all the photos once we got home.

"Do you need any help?" Bailey asked as he poked his head into my bedroom where I was trying to get Oaklyn down to sleep. "I'm all good, thank you though" I reply back softly as I hold the bottle for Oaklyn who's eyes were slowly growing heavy.
After the game the guys suggested we head back to my place so we could celebrate the win. I thought they'd all head out to one of the college parties but they all said they weren't really interested in that sort of thing.
So we were all currently back at my place, the other guys were all in my lounge room area enjoying some alcoholic beverages. They were all over 21 where as I was nearly 20 so they easily acquired the drinks.
Even though I declined Bailey's offer of help he came and sat down next to me until Oaklyn had finished her bottle and was drowsy enough for me to place her down in her crib. She sleepily rolled onto her stomach and pulled her legs up under her body and sighed in content.
I smile down at her before leaving the bedroom with Bailey in tow. After making sure the door was closed softly we walked down the small hall towards the loungeroom. The guys were happily chatting away about some girl.
I roll my eyes at their conversation making Bailey chuckle from behind me. "You should be used to their conversations by now" Bailey said as we sat down on the spare couch. I pull my legs up and rest my chin on my knees as I listen to their conversation.
Tim had apparently hooked up with some cheerleader and she was constantly messaging him, something like that anyways. I caught little bits and pieces of their conversation.
I decide to tune out their boy talk as I pull my phone out and scroll through the photos that we took tonight. "I like that one" I jump in fright slightly as Bailey spoke softly, I turn my head slightly to see Bailey's face was right next to mine, as he was looking down at my phone.
He realised I was looking at him so he turned his head and I swear if I moved towards him slightly our lips would touch. As much as I wanted to do that I quickly turn my attention back to my phone.
The photo Bailey commented about was of the two of us and Oaklyn. It was when I had just put my arm around his waist and we were both looking at each other and Oaklyn was giving her adorable baby smile towards the camera. He was right, it was a great photo, but it looked like we were a little family, which we were not.
"It is nice" I comment back to him, we both continue to look at the rest of the photos, saying small things about the ones we liked. "Can you please send them to me?" Bailey asked softly, I nod my head and sent all the photos to him straight away so I wouldn't forget later on.
