Broken and repaired

First day

I went out of the front door of our foster groups home and grabbed my skateboard so that I didn't have to walk the whole way to school. I could have just ridden with Mrs.stuart but that would be like trouts, all she talked about are chores, soap, and troubled Pop stars it's not pretty. I have been living in this group home for almost half of the summer so I already knew my way to school, though I'm pretty sure I didn't know anyone their, because boxing is just starting today, and I couldn't go to the gym or anywhere much for that matter thanks to Mrs.stuart. By the time I got to school I was already 10:00 minutes late. Just great not only am I the knew girl I'm also the girl that's late on her first day of school I thought while walking down the halls to try and get to my class room as quickly as possible. When I finally found the class room I took a deep breath and then opened the door. All heads turned to me including the teacher who is Mrs.aria who had been in the middle of teaching the kids what the "rules" of the classroom is "and you might you be" the teacher said "umm my names Charlie I should be in this class" I said "oh yes the new girl" the teacher said "Charlie right sorry we don't get many new students here"she said " well umm why don't you tell the class a little about your self" "oh umm theirs really not much to tell"I said hoping she would leave it at that but my pleads with my eyes for her to not ask more did not work so well" don't be silly tell us something that you like to do or something you did over the summer" the teacher said "umm well I like to umm...... Collect.. Um rocks" I said it sort of more asking it while some of the students laughed. "You like to... Collect rocks" the teacher said "umm to be perfectly honest I would much rather if we just skipped the whole introduction thing and no rocks are ummm..... Not my style" I said while more students laughed the teacher just says "alright well then take a seat and we will start are lesson.
School went on pretty much like this until lunch. I was walking out of my biology class when a girl a few inches shorter than me came up and introduced herself to me. "Hey my names Hannah Rae" she said cheerfully "hi my names Charlie" I said "oh I already know pretty everyone does we never really get new kids, Maybe 4 new kids for all the grades combined in two years" she said "wow" I said "I know" she said "anyways want to sit with me at lunch" she said "sure I said as we reached the cafeteria. After we got our food I followed Hannah to a small table in the back of the cafeteria. Me and Hannah sat down at the table and that's when I asked" so does anyone else sit here" "ya my other friend Jacob but don't worry you will love him but um just to warn you umm he's gay so incase you have anything against gay people or" I stopped her in the middle of her rant to say" know I'm fine with them" I said "So" Hannah says" tells me about yourself " " umm their really isn't much tell" I said "oh their must be something" she said "umm I don't open up to people easily but I made s promise to someone that I would try to so I'll tell you a secret if you can keep it" I said "yes yes yes I promise you can tell me anything" Hannah said practically jumping out of her seat "ok well I uh I box and umm I have been boxing since I was 10" I said really quickly "wow what made you start" said Hannah "umm it's complicated but a friend taught me how" I said "oh cool" Hannah said "well we have last period together so see you then" said Hannah "wait" I said "where was Jacob" I asked " oh he was out sick today anyways see you later" she said
I was walking down the halls to my locker with Hannah after my last period when some one knocked into me and made me drop my books. "Dammit" I said when I look up I saw a guy much larger than me that has a leather jacket on and jet black hair that somehow almost make him look intimidating but I have seen worse. "Watch where your going" he said " you were the one that wasn't paying attention" I say while picking up my books Hannah sends me a warning glare but I'm not intimidated by this guy I've taken down guys twice his size we it was only once but still it counts. "Just watch wee your going bitch" he says after I'm done picking up my boots then he starts too walk away "jack ass" I mumble but he heard it he stops dead in his tracks( by this time everyone in the halls were starting at us, I guess no one has stood up to him before) "what did you say" he practically growls as he turns around " oh nothing" i say,"just that your a jack ass" he glares at me "I sware to God if you call me that agin I will" I cut him of mid sentence "or you'll what make my life a living hell "I say while laughing "can't make my life a living hell if it already is one" I mumble the last part but apparently he heard it because he says "what" the confusion clear on his face but their was something else their it almost looked like sympathy but before I could look at it some more it was gone as fast as it came and besides I didn't want sympathy. " nothing" I say then I get a phone call "oh sorry I have to get this" I say before turning on my heel and walking out the school doors with Hannah hot on my heels, I answer my phone while hannah was yelling at me about how much of an idiot I am for doing that, on the phone call a lady answers and says"hello is this Charlie Sutton" the lady says, I say "yes I am Charlie and who is this" " I'm Jocelyn from the police department we just wanted you to know that your fathers been released from prison. "What" I yell into to the phone which then makes Hannah stop talking and the lady Jocelyn start rambling but I shut my phone off and grab my skate board and say " got to go Hannah"before riding to the only place I know of where I can get my feelings out not to mention that today is the starting of the season, the boxing season.
