As a citizen of our great country of Aganreich, you are more than intimately aware of the blight that is the Vvilk Virus after it's introduction to the continent when it was first settled 300 years ago. When the plague was unleashed plunging our country into an eternal state of war. When our allies were made enemies by the Vvilk Virus. The majority of you may have been moved to join this branch as you may have experienced a loved one that had died at the hands of one of these monsters, or that has unfortunately become one of them. If you haven't, it's incredibly unlikely that you haven't known of at least one person in your life who has. Hunting the Vvilks and other beasts like them that threaten to turn more humans into their ilk will be your primary duty as a Hunter, but this will not be your only responsibility.
Understanding what the acronym of H.U.N.T.E.R.S. stands for will give you a better insight into your obligations as a Hunter.
Hopefully prior to your training in the military, you may have already learned that H.U.N.T.E.R.S. stands for the
Human Unified National Taskforce for Environmental Reconnaissance Special-Operations
As you may tell from the acronym, the Hunters Branch is a variant of the National Guard that overlaps with some of the roles of a park or forest ranger.
This doesn't only entail the tracking and killing of Vvilks and other creatures like them, although that may consume a large bulk of your work. It may also entail assisting government scientists monitoring wildlife, checking which populations could potentially be carrying viruses that could affect humans. It may involve protecting wildlife against poachers and culling disease carrying animals.
Because Hunters are forced to adapt to a variety of terrains and circumstances, this is counted as a form of military training that can quickly advance a soldier into a higher rank if they so decide to expand into another branch of the military. It's a wonderful opportunity for those looking to quickly advance in their military careers that everyone presented with it should take advantage of, along with the other privileges provided to you by your country.
