As Darwin's gaze shifted from Y/N to the child in her arms, his mind reeled with questions. Who was this little boy? And why was he here, at Anfield with Y/N?
Before he could voice his thoughts Dominik entered the room, his expressions a mix of concern and curiosity, he looks at his sister and she nods at him .
"Darwin, there's something you need to know," he began, his voice steady yet gentle. "Y/N didn't keep Jayden from you intentionally. She found out about the pregnancy after you had already left, and she was scared to reach out to you."
Darwin felt a surge of emotions wash over him - guilt, regret, and a flicker of hope. How could he have been so blind? How could he have missed something as monumental as becoming a father?
As the truth sank in, Darwin turned to Y/N, his heart heavy with remorse. "I'm sorry, Y/N. I had no idea..."
Y/N's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as she reached out to touch his hand. "I understand if you're angry at me, Darwin. But please believe me when I say that I never meant to hurt you."
