Han-na wiped down the smoothie counter, the rhythmic swish of the cloth a soothing distraction from the chaos of her thoughts. Lost in her own world, she didn't notice the figure that entered the shop until he was standing right in front of her.
"Can I help you?" she asked, looking up to meet the gaze of a striking young man with piercing eyes that seemed to hold a universe of secrets.
Jungkook studied her for a moment, his expression unreadable, before a faint smirk tugged at the corners of his lips. "I'll have a strawberry banana smoothie," he said, his voice smooth and low, sending a shiver down Han-na's spine.
"Sure thing," she replied, forcing herself to focus on the task at hand. As she prepared his order, she couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, the hairs on the back of her neck standing on end.
Jungkook leaned against the counter, his gaze never leaving her face. "You seem different from the others," he remarked, his tone casual yet filled with an underlying intensity that sent a jolt of apprehension through her.
Han-na forced a smile, her heart pounding in her chest. "I'm just a college student trying to make ends meet," she replied, hoping he wouldn't see through the facade she had carefully constructed.
Jungkook's eyes flickered with amusement, as if he could see right through her pretense. "And yet, there's something about you," he said cryptically, his gaze lingering on her in a way that made her feel exposed, vulnerable.
Han-na swallowed hard, her fingers trembling slightly as she handed him his smoothie. "Here you go," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jungkook accepted the drink with a nod of thanks, giving her the money, his gaze still fixed on her. "I'll be seeing you around," he said, his words laden with meaning before he turned and disappeared into the bustling street outside, leaving Han-na with a sense of unease that lingered long after he was gone.
As evening fell over the city, she Closes up the smoothie shop for the night, she made her way through the dimly lit streets. With each step, her thoughts drifted back to the stranger who had captured her attention with his mysterious aura. She couldn't deny the pull he exerted on her
...
The next day dawned bright and clear, but for Han-na, a sense of unease hung heavy in the air. She couldn't shake the memory of the stranger who had entered her life so unexpectedly the previous evening.
As she went about her morning routine, preparing for another day of classes and work at the smoothie shop, her mind kept drifting back to Jungkook. Who was he? What did he want with her? The questions swirled in her mind like a whirlwind.
Arriving at the smoothie shop, She greeted her coworkers with a smile, going through her duties with practiced ease, but her thoughts remained consumed by the memory of Jungkook's piercing gaze.
Hours passed in a blur of activity, the steady stream of customers distracted Han-na's racing thoughts. But as the afternoon fell over the city , a familiar figure appeared in the doorway of the shop.
Jungkook stood framed against the fading light. Han-na's heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, her pulse quickening with a mixture of fear and anticipation.
He approached the counter where she stood, his expression unreadable as he met her gaze with an intensity that sent a shiver down her spine. "I thought I'd drop by for another smoothie," he said casually.
Han-na forced herself to maintain her composure, though her hands trembled slightly as she prepared his order. "Coming right up," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper as she tried to ignore the emotions churning inside her.
As she handed him the smoothie, their fingers brushed briefly, sending a jolt of electricity through her veins. Jungkook's lips curved into a faint smile, his eyes holding hers captive for a moment longer before he turned to leave, after placing the money on the counter.
"Until next time, Han-na," he said, his voice lingering in the air like a promise as he disappeared into the gathering darkness outside.
*EVENING*
Han-na and her bff, Skystar settled into a cozy corner of their favorite café, Han-na fidgeted nervously with her cup of coffee, her mind still reeling from her encounter at the smoothie shop earlier that day. Taking a deep breath, she finally mustered the courage to confide in Skystar.
"Sky, there's something I need to tell you," Han-na began, her voice hesitant as she searched for the right words.
Skystar looked up from her phone, her eyes narrowing with curiosity. "What's up, Ana? You look like you've seen a ghost," she remarked.
Han-na bit her lower lip, "Well, you remember that guy who came into the smoothie shop the other day?" she started, her voice barely above a whisper.
Skystar nodded. "The mysterious hottie who left you all flustered? Yeah, I remember him," she replied, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.
Han-na flushed at the memory, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. "Well, he came back today."
Skystar's eyes widened in surprise. "No way! What did he want?"
Han-na hesitated, unsure of how to explain the whirlwind of emotions that had consumed her since Jungkook's return. "I don't know, exactly. He ordered a smoothie, and we talked for a bit."
Skystar raised an eyebrow. "And?" she prompted, her eyes searching Han-na's face for clues.
Han-na sighed, her shoulders slumping with defeat. "And I don't know what to make of it, Sky. There's something about him that's just... different. Mysterious." she confessed, her voice filled with uncertainty.
Skystar placed a reassuring hand on Han-na's shoulder, her eyes soft with understanding. "Well, whatever it is, just be careful, okay? You never know what kind of secrets people are hiding," she cautioned, her voice filled with concern.
Han-na nodded. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind," she replied, a sense of determination settling over her.
They finished their coffees and headed out into the bustling city streets, Walking towards their apartment.
