Nicholas and I arrived back to the hospital.

I was still upset with myself about the whole Maki situation.

I felt bad.

It seemed as if I didn't even care about him.

I totally understand what he was upset about.

But Nicholas had a plan.

Riki's doctor approached the both of us.

She smiled to the both of us.

"Okay, so some good news is the his condition is not critical, and with how things are looking, he should wake up in a few minutes."

I smiled, being happy that my friend could soon be back to normal again.

"Thank you so much, Miss!" 

She replied, "Of course, i'm glad that your friend's okay." She slightly bowed and left the room.

I turned to Nicholas, "What was your plan?"

"Oh, right!" He motioned me to sit down next to him near the window.

I did, then he began to speak, "We'll have to act fast. But, you should try to catch him before he gets on his flight. Make up with him and convince him to stay."

I looked up at him, "You think that will work?"

"Mhm. I know that he loves you more than anything, no matter what he may have said. And I know you love him too. Love conquers all, right?"

I smiled, "Let's go." I stood up, but was interrupted by a voice.

"I want to come too!"

Riki.

"You're awake!" I gave him a hug.

He hugged back and smiled, "Let's go get your man, yeah?"

The doctors quickly did one last check up on Riki.

Once he was all good, Nicholas, Riki, and I headed to Nicholas's car to head to the airport.

"When's the next flight to Korea?" I asked, hoping for an answer.

"Thirty minutes from now..." Riki responded.

Then, another question popped into my head, "Nicholas, why aren't you going back with Maki?" 

"Oh, well they gave me more time since Maki was on thin ice and I wasn't." I nodded.

There was a lot of traffic on the road that we were driving on.

"Why is it that today, of all days, at this time, there's a bunch of traffic! It's never like this."

I was so frustrated.

I just wanted to see Maki before it was too late.

"Woah, calm down there, Mari. We'll get to him in time." Said Nicholas

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes to calm myself down.

I was feeling a lot better than before.

I'm super glad that people like Riki and Nicholas exist.
