Summer break had officially started, meaning students could have their precious little free time of their own.

Kenma took this long break definitely for granted, mostly isolating himself in his own room and didn't complain.
...Until Kuroo stopped by.

Kenma burried himself underneath his covers of his bed, his thick covers reaching his chin while his hands were holding his phone, scrolling past some video game reviews.

The second year settled down before immediately jolting out of his relaxation due to his door opening wide and slamming against his wall. Kenma looked over to the right side of him with widened eyes, spotting Kuroo.

"Kuroo.. what the hell are you doing..?" Kenma questioned with a slightly cracked voice, already annoyed with the third year.

Kuroo exhaled underneath his breath, eyeing the phone Kenma had in his hands. "Kenma, it's been almost three weeks since we've done anything together." Kuroo gently closed Kenma's door back before approaching his way.

Kenma's face slightly scrunched up in more annoyance, huffing softly. "And..? What? Are you going to drag me outside to pick grass out of the ground?" He responded sarcastically, turning his phone off as he slanted his eyes at Kuroo.

Kuroo's disappointment turned into a slight grin. "You're half correct." He spoke, leaving Kenma confused, watching the tall middle blocker grab the covers that were hanging off of Kenma's bed. "Which half- what are you doing.." Kenma cut himself off, tensing up.

Kuroo grabbed Kenma's legs, pulling him out of his bed. Kenma let out a choked gasp, trying to grab on to his bedsheets, yet it didn't work - leading to his body to meet the floor a bit harshly.

Kenma immediately looked up at Kuroo with a sharp glare. "Why.." Kenma huffed once more as Kuroo shrugged with a smile. "Sorry. I found it the only way to get you up again." The middle blocker nodded.

"Well, you got my attention, so what is it..?" Kenma grumbled at Kuroo while the third year tapped his foot against the floor.

"I may or may not got a reservation at a small hotel for us." Kuroo spoke up, almost like he was boasting yet Kenma didn't quite have a big reaction at that.

Kenma stuffed his hands into his oversized hoodie, even though it was summer season. "What, why." Kenma questioned.

Kuroo opened the door again, motioning Kemma to follow him. "To get you out of your room for once." Kuroo blinked as Kenma eventually slowly walked toward him with another grumble and grabbed his phone.

He knew if he'd refuse, he'd go through another irritating time with Kuroo.

The two volleyball players both entered outdoors while Kenma immediately slouched down, squinting his eyes due to the bright sun all in his face. Kuroo looked down at him. "You're really wearing a hoodie in this weather?" He raised a brow, snorting amusingly.

Kenma lightly shrugged, scrolling on his phone to keep him busy by playing some sort of game.

"Whatever happened to your video game console?" Kuroo questioned while Kenma looked up at him like he heard the most idiotic question of his life. "You.. took it away from me a week ago.." Kenma murmured.

"Right." Kuroo responded under his breath, taking Kenma's phone out of his hands. "At least look up and watch where you're going, Kenma." Kuroo stuffed the setter's phone in one of his pockets that was out of Kenma's reach, gently pulling Kenma closer toward himself with one of his arms.

Kenma paused for a moment, trying to scoot away from the tall middle blocker's grasp, yet it didn't work.
"Why are you doing this.." Kenma huffed. Kuroo still had a faint grin on his face while replying. "You haven't spent time with me in forever, at least walk beside me."

The setter didn't reply, only eyeing the ground while slowly dragging his feet against the pavement. "Besides, where we're going isn't even far." Kuroo added.

Eventually, the two highschoolers both arrived to what Kuroo called a "hotel." Kenma looked up, his eyes glancing over to the beat-up sign that was still lit up, but flickering, while the parking space looked abandoned.

There were multiple doors outside that lead to apartments. This.. was not a hotel, but a motel.

Shrinking down, Kenma grumbled uncomfortably, narrowing down his eyes. Kuroo blinked confusingly. "You don't like it? C'mon, the inside is better than what you're seeing right now." He nodded as Kenma tried to take his word. "Hardly doubt it." He thought, walking up to one of the doors.

Kuroo already had a key to one of the small apartments - like he already planned this. Hesitantly, Kenma followed behind Kuroo. Apparently, it was slightly better inside, but one problem was there was only one small bed that could fit one person.

As soon as the two noticed this problem, Kuroo couldn't even speak before Kenma spoke up immediately. "You're sleeping on the floor." He stated, eyeing Kuroo.

Kuroo paused, his heart sinking. "But Kenma.." Kuroo frowned as Kenma shook his head. "This.. isn't a hotel, it's a motel, Kuroo. Know the difference.." Kenma grumbled, folding his arms loosely.

"Just give it a try, I payed for this." Kuroo mumbled, grabbing Kenma's hand to hold it up. Loosely, Kenma didn't pull away immediately, but didn't contain eye contact. A few seconds of awkwardness got to Kenma, making him slip out of Kuroo's grasp.

Kuroo walked over to the bed, trying to tidy it up better than it was before, still looking at it like he was uncomfortable. Shaking his head a bit, he looked over at Kenma who was searching for something in his pockets.

"Forgot my charger.. I want to sit down, but everything doesn't even look right." Kenma thought to himself, a bit annoyed than before, only stuffing his phone back into his pockets.

Kuroo looked around the room before eyeing the door. "Hey Kenma, wanna walk around outside for awhile?" Kuroo tilted his head with a faint smile, which Kenma blinked, not fond of the "walking" thing. "No.." Kenma responded with a low voice.

"Well you have no choice tooo.." Kuroo approached Kenma, quickly scooping him up in a hug, bringing him down on the bed. "...Be stuck with me in this room." Kuroo continued.

Caught off guard again, Kenma squeezed his eyes shut, feeling uncomfortable for a few seconds before relaxing parts of his body in Kuroo's arms. "You're so weird.." Kenma covered his mouth, slightly flustered with the physical affection, his eyes still closed.

"How so, huh?" Kuroo rose a brow. "Why are you covering your mouth? What are you hiding, hmm?" Kuroo grinned, trying to remove Kenma's hand that was covering his mouth.

"Aww, you're blushing, aren't you?" Kuroo snickered, loosening up on holding Kenma.

"No I'm not.." Kenma eyed the middle blocker before quickly looking away.

"Yeah, you are."
"I'm not, Kuroo."

There was a paused silence before Kuroo decided to speak out again.

"Stop trying to deny it."

"Shut up.."
