Sitting outside the operation room. I found myself seated on a bench, surrounded by my relatives who had gathered to offer me words of comfort. But, all I can hear is my mind echoes repeatedly "I'm the cause"

I woke up from my thoughts when somebody tapped me on the shoulder.

It was the doctor. For some reason there was a look of disappointment in his eyes.

"Doctor, how is he? Is he okey?" my grandmother asked him

"It wasn't an accident, wasn't it?" He sighed

"He had a bit of a critical condition and lost lot of blood. We did our best, but I'm sorry. he is more" and he left

After shocking news reached us, a wave of sorrow swept through the corridor, triggering tears in everyone's eyes. But my profound silence panicked them the most. My grandmother gently attempted to comfort me,but I pushed her hand away and ran out of the hospital. My heart felt so heavy, gasping for breath as if the air itself had turned thick and suffocating. The situation felt so overwhelming, I couldn't accept what the doctor said. It feels like the ground beneath is starting to crumble and the world is threatening to shatter.

As I stared at my hands,my body began to feel numb and head started spinning.

"Blood", it....it....its Blood"

Hands started shaking as blood started dripping from them. Indeed when I attempted to rub it on the dress, it didn't work. I see people around hoping for some help, but all I see is blood and only blood.

Yelled my lungs out, but the sound didn't come out. I don't know what to do, whom to call or where to go.

I ran out of there and ended up on a busy one way, started walking from the crossing point on this road where the cars were screeching. Many cars passed by without hitting me. Suddenly,a tipper crashed, splashed and dashed away.

I bounced out of the dream and looked around, sighed as found myself sitting in the train compartment. Tilt my head back and delicately close my eyes. Here, a teardrop escaped indeed without realising it.
