It's test week for dogday and catnap now, they have been studying really hard for them, so they don't have much time to rest or even eat at times, it's starting to affect their mental health recently, but they are trying to not let it get to them, but dogday has been getting worse and worse lately, he stays in his room all day and night to study, he rarely leaves, only to eat, but even that is rare at this point...catnap was worried for dogday ever since he started acting like this.

"Dogday!" The purple kitty called his friend from the kitchen "dinner is ready!" Catnap was hopeful that dogday would come to eat, since he hasn't seen dogday eating for a good while, which is worrying...after some minutes, dogday says from his room "I'm not really hungry nap, so you can eat without me" his voice sounded like he was forcing to sound normal to catnap, but he decided to ignore that feeling, it was probably something from his mind, right?

Time skip to the next day.

It's now time for the students to receive the math test, dogday seemed anxious and nervous, he was a bit shaky..but catnap didn't notice that. When dogday was called to get his test, he looked at the paper and his eyes widened with shock, the bad type.

After class, catnap went to buy some food for them to eat since the dorm was out of food.

-catnaps POV:

"Ok this should be it" catnap said as he took the last thing on the list and went to the cashier...after he bought the food and was now walking to the dorm, he started to think about dogday, and how he was very quiet and hidden nowadays...was dogday really ok?..doesn't seem like it.
After catnap arrives in the dorm, the first thing he hears is what seems like crying coming from dogdays room...at the sight of that sound, catnap ears go down and his tail shows clear distress and worry for his canine friend, he threw his stuff on the couch and ran to dogdays room "s-sunshine?, are in there?" Catnap says to dogday from the outside of his room "..." nothing, only crying...that just worried catnap even more at this point, so he just opened the door, to find dogday, crying on his desk with his test on his side..catnaps feels genuine guilt for seeing his friend like this "dogday..?" When catnap asks this, dogday turns his head to him, with a look of sadness and pain "l-leave me alone naps..please" dogday asked catnap, the feline rejected his pleads however, "no, I won't leave, you clearly are not ok sunshine" catnap says as he wraps his arms around dogday in calming and comforting way... the moment dogday felt the hug, he just broke down right then and there "I-i...these test are just too much catnap...I spent days without sleep and eating to study for these tests, just for me to get a 5 on math...the one I spent more time studying.." he held catnap tight to him, as he cried in the cats arms, "I'm just tired of this...tired of school, tests, class, eve-EVERYTHING" dogday said as he let out his emotions into catnap "...I know how that feels buddy..I spent nights without sleep as well to study, but what I want for you to know now is that, I'm here for you dogday, I care for you" catnap said as he hugged dogday back "...thank you catnap" dogday says to catnap as he slowly calmed himself down, but for a while, the 2 just stood there hugging, while catnap was comforting the crying dogday... "y-you are shaking dogday.." catnap said as he looked at dogday with a worried look "it's f-fine...can we go to bed now? I..wanna rest" dogday said as he put his head on catnaps chest "alright then" catnap gave the doggy a smile and laid on dogdays bed with him, after some minutes, dogday and catnap fell asleep while hugging each other, giving comfort and warmth to each other.
