Chapter 6

Aurelio's POV

I reached home, only to get a shock,
In our living room, I heard my mom sobbing, alone, no one with her, the servants leave at 7, and it's quite late right but the question is where is Amelia, I rushed to mom, sat on my knees in front of her, took her hands in mine, she looked at me and hugged me tight and said, "she's gone Auri, sh-she left us, she won't even pick her phone up, she left for forever" she sobbed in my embrace, I was confused, who is she talking about, then she showed me a note that read:

"I feel suffocated here, living with you guys, I'm leaving with my boyfriend, don't look for me, it's for the good of everyone,
Amelia"

Saying, I was shocked would be an understatement but I know it's a lie Ami would never say or do anything like that to us, I know everything about her, she doesn't even have a boyfriend and why would she feel suffocated with us, she loves us, it's all a lie I know it, it seems as if someone is forcing her, I'm a lawyer and I trust my instincts, it's not her, it all seems so fake, I'll find her no matter what! I came out of my thoughts when I heard mom say, "Why would she do this to us Auri, what did we ever do to make her feel suffocated, she was the happiest person in this family, why would she  run away like that!?" She cried, I rubbed her back trying to calm her down and said, "don't worry mom, it's not her, she would never do anything like this, trust me, I'll bring her back." I stood up and my mind went towards the events that took place in the day, can it be that, they kidnapped Ami, but didn't they have a problem with me, I was filled with rage, dropped mom to her room and called Ava, She picked up in a ring and said, "Good evening sir, what happened, it's quite late?" I sighed and asked her to find about the person, I sent her every info I had and told her to do it asap, she assured that she'll do it and hung up, I then went to the police station.

As I reached there, I informed the officer about Ami and all the events of the day and asked them to find her, they knew me from before and started searching for her at the moment, I stayed there to help them but they sent me home Saying that they'll call me if needed, I went home and started searching her room for any clues, I know my sister is smart, she must've left something for me.

It's been an hour since I've been searching her room and I've found nothing, sighing I decided to go through her laptop only to find some recording, it seemed as if her room had a camera, but the whole house has cameras leaving our bedrooms, so how did this recording of her room took place, I was confused as hell but decided to go through it once.

I was going through it when I noticed something odd, I saw dad talking to Ami, Dad never talks to us like he never talks talks just greets and that's it,Ami, she looked scared, she was crying and shaking, I don't know what they're talking about, suddenly dad turned around to leave and Ami showed her hand towards the camera, there was a red circle on her hand, that's when it clicked my mind, I told her that if she's ever in danger and sees anyone or any camera there she should make a red circle on her hand as it represents danger and she always has a lipstick with her no matter what so it was easy for her, but the question is how is dad a danger to her?, and what were they talking about that, she was shaking and crying.

I downloaded the recording on my phone when suddenly suddenly clicked my mind and that is WHERE THE HELL IS DAD ?!
