- THE STUDENTS GATHERED IN THE MAIN HALL, THE TEACHERS WAITING FOR THEM TO GET THEMSELVES ORGANIZED FOR DORM ASSIGNMENTS. Esmeray wandered the hall, trying to find a secluded corner away from the gawking freshmen. Although they didn't follow her wherever she went, they still stared after her and whispered and murmured as she passed by.

"Oh, this place is..." the brown-haired girl that had bumped into Esmeray said.

"Big?" the angel heiress finished. The girl looked towards her.

"Oh, uh, yeah...hey, about earlier, sorry?" she said, stumbling over her words. She held out her hand for Esmeray to shake. "I'm Sophia."

"Esmeray." the black-haired princess said, accepting the hand.

"And I'm Ava," the one with the squeaky voice told her. "This is Saoirse." she said, gesturing to the silver-haired girl on Sophia's left.

"Are you...actually an angel?" Saoirse asked nervously.

"Mm-hm," Esmeray mused. "I am."

"Wow, cool..."

A teacher appeared to the girls' left on the far side of the room. Ms Furi, the magic teacher. "New students gather for room assignments," her blue and white unicorn neighed as her rider continued. "The fate fairies will select a gemstone that best suits you, this year the angel heiress will be joining you all, so I expect you treat her with utter respect and as a student as well as you."

"What?" Esmeray said, slightly taken back, tilting her head to the side.

"Proceed to the corresponding dormitory." As the words left Ms Furi's mouth the fate fairies hovered over the new students' heads, an illusion of a gemstone appearing there. The students either had a Ruby, Emerald or Sapphire illusion over their heads. Sophia, Ava and Esmeray got Sapphire Dorm, while Saoirse got Ruby Dorm.

Ava squealed and tried to hug both Sophia and Esmeray, but the heiress slipped out of the embrace, so the cheery girl just hugged Sophia.

"The three of us are in Sapphire Dorm, it's fate!" Ava looked over to Saoirse. "Oh, sorry, Saoirse."

"It's fine, you guys go enjoy your time with the other Sapphires, I'll just...make friends with the Rubies, shouldn't be too hard."

Not long after Saoirse departed from the group to find the Ruby Dorm, Ava squealed and marveled at the sight of the school. She turned back to Sophia, taking her hands in her own.

"I just know we're gonna be besties!"

Sophia chuckles awkwardly, pulling out of Ava's grasp. A boy comes up behind the three girls, wrapping an arm around Ava's shoulder, a phone in the opposite hand. "Boom! Work the hair. Hashtag, 'Dream Life.' Hashtag, 'Wait, is this a dream?'" the boy exclaimed dramatically. "Hashtag, 'Help, I'm trapped in a dream,'."

Ms Furi atop her unicorn appeared behind the boy.

"Seriously, are you guys seeing this?" The boy gasped as the blue and white horse-like creature took the phone in his mouth, turned his neck and gave the phone to Ms Furi.

"We take our oath of secrecy very seriously here, Mr. Carmichael,"

"Right, right, got it," he said, holding his hands out. "Zipping the lips." he touched his fingers to his mouth, making a popping sound in an imitation of keeping his mouth shut. "Just out of curiosity, was I invited because of my epic dirt-bike riding skills or my legendary sense of humor?" he asked, holding his arms out in a joking manner.
