Ch 15 | Mentor

It's been days since my university started and to my surprise.. Kim Taehyung.. Is going to teach us a subject.. I was surprised when I saw him entering the class with reference books and started teaching casually.. We haven't really talked to each other since last time but we do smile when our eyes meet.. honestly.. He's.. a good professor.. He has knowledge of that field and maybe that's why he chose to pass on that knowledge..

As Jisoo won't be studying for masters.. I thought I'd be all alone in university.. but.. I made a friend.. she's an omega too.. Her name is Irene.. I won't call her my best friend.. but we formed a friendship based on our daily talk in classes.. I was surprised to know she is from the Han clan too.. She said that she knew me since the party in our mansion.. The party where I first met taehyung..

So she definitely knew about Taehyung being my Ex fiance.. And I'm glad she never asked me anything related to my past with our professor Taehyung.. "So the mentors have been allotted.. I have sent the document in the group.. Meet your mentors as soon as possible" Said our professor.. I quickly checked the document he had sent in the group.. My eyes widened.. 'Miss Han Jia - Professor Kim Taehyung' I bit my inner lip.. Is that really a coincidence?

"Oh gosh! I got Sir Lee as my mentor.." with that Irene put her head on the desk.. And I checked that in the document.. "Don't worry.. I heard from seniors that he's really smart" I said.. "Whatever.. Who's your mentor?" with that Irene scroll till she saw my name.. she looked at me mysteriously.. "Sir Kim!" she said.. I nodded.. She again put her head on the desk.. "Well.. he's not experienced either.. what are we gonna do now buddy?" she says.. I put my head on my desk too.. "I don't know that either"

After long silence she gets up energetically.. "Forget about the projects.. let's focus on today's night" She says.. "Today's night?" I asked while lifting my head up.. "Yes.. Welcome party" she said.. "Don't tell me you didn't know about the welcome party" she said.. I nodded.. "How can you not know it Jia... It's the best part of a student's life.." she said.. that's true.. I never went to a welcome party because my father never allowed it.. But now the scene is different..

"But am I not supposed to inform the organizers early?" I asked.. "Yes.. We were supposed to fill a link.. but.. It's ok if you forget.. I'll talk to my friend who's in the organization.. In the end.. You're coming.. Right?" She asked.. Well.. Jungkook won't mind would he? I nodded.. "Great.. so see you at the club then.." with that she walked out after waving me goodbye..

I walked out after some time and found Suzy waiting for me.. We were walking towards the car when I noticed Taehyung walking towards his car too.. he noticed me too.. He bowed his head as a greeting.. I bowed back.. I sighed and walked to him.. "I received the notice and... Sir Kim Taehyung.. You are my mentor.." I said.. he paused and turned to me.. "well.." that's all he said.. "I'm assuming it's a coincidence" I added.. after a long silence.. he spoke.. "Maybe" with a small smirking smile.. that gave me chills.. My smile dropped..
